All things outside of Burning Man.

Interesting. They said on their annoucement that for the time being there would be one general discussion thread while they tweak the thing. Dare I defy spanky and the gang?

Hey you’re the first one on the New and improved E-Playa who hasn't been permitted to start a new thread,... you rebel Crypto.

The old bar saw a lot of use. Perhaps some remodeling is in order.

I wonder who the first Plonkee will be? Anyway it's good to have it back, nice job admin team. C-ya.

if ya'll read the sticky announcement about the dawning of the new eplaya, you'll see what the buddy list and such does. That's where I found out.

Somehow I get am feeling a bit happier today. I am still recovering from a weekend of utter debauchery. It will be nice to have our bar again even if we need to start from scratch.

you know, maybe it's just me, but I don't necessarily see this as an opportunity to REcreate what was, but instead to create something new. So, while the bar was nice, perhaps it's best to sit tight and see what organically comes?

oohhh... and THANK YOU for the PLONK!!!

Anyhow, I updated the Announcement. Quick recap:

Let's work this out right away so I don't have to stay up all night.

I;m not seeing what I saw before. If what I'm seeing is what you intend for me to see I can't say.

I accidentally turned off message pop ups when I turned off general pop ups on my machine.

This was interesting. It said I had new messages waiting, but when I checked, I got an error message and my browser was then shut down and restarted. I did, however, get the message in my email folder. I'm on Cripto's buddy list! woo hoo!

Hey buddy!

Here is another way I had found the blank pop-up. I went to my PM Inbox. I then clicked the link to the E-Playa Forum Index and there it was again.

I got dumped when I was trying to deal with my messages and contacn management. I pressed quote to reply to your question and kept getting something telling me that that document or file or something was empty when I was off line. I finally closed all netscape windows and logged in again.

Any pop ups that I get are blocked by my blocker thing-a-ma-jig. I do get a new, smaller window that opens when I add a buddy, but it seems to be working just as it is intended.

btw--I love the longer pages. 42 may be too long, but 15 was definately tooooo short.
