Bike rack will be mounted today. External air filter will be placed on the cabin air intake on the hood of the Jeep. It allows me to run the air conditioner without sucking in dust to the cabin. Well, very, very little dust

Will sleep over at the grave pit.. Bout forty mile out from BRC.. Go in to Gerlach Sun. and talk to others waiting for the gate.. Have picnic food for the trip and layover..

This year at burning man there is going to be a LEO camp located right in center camp. I think it is pretty awesome that they are embracing the event and really becoming participants. As a thank you it would be awesome to help them build a kick ass sculpture in front of their camp. LIGHT BULB moment. A watermelon pyramid. Here is how we will make this happen. Everyone that wants to help should bring a watermelon with them to the playa. When you have a minute, pop by and drop off the watermelon to their camp. Give them a hug, and thank them for participating. Feel free to hang out and help construct the pyramid, or if you don't have time, simply the leave the watermelon in their capable hands. Their camp is at 6 and should be next to the ranger station. if it just 10k bring a watermelon and help them make a giant watermelon pyramid, that would be pretty epic. A project that would rival the man. Also, it just seems a great way to help them be a bigger and more integral part of the event. I expect rangers to participate double. That means 2 watermelons and at least 15 minutes of standing around telling them how to safely construct this beautiful sculpture.

I'm figuring out how to make the table and shelf unit for the borrowed tent trailer. It seemed so simple in my head, but the darn thing doesn't want to behave in real life. Plus, it's over 100 and sunny here in Tucson, so I'm wilting while working on it.

If I'm lucky, I'll abandon the project.

Does anyone have a link to the live feed yet? I have been listening to BMIR off and on. Is that the only live feed right now? Video would be so great!

I have injured my back and I can't do much. I vow to try to sit on the floor of my bedroom and sort/pack my clothes. I took my son for a haircut today and that was about all I could do while walking/standing. Terrible timing. I am quite sad.

Finished shopping except for six or so items. Sitting at bar having dinner. Will finish shopping tonight. Lion made it with some minor damage. Might get late start tomorrow as I repair him.

Power washed all my tarps, coolers and chairs today. More power washing on the agenda for tomorrow. Hope all my Burning Man gear will be cleaned and stored by the end of the weekend. Only 361 days until the Man burns!

Inventoried everything used, even trash. Made list for next year. Caught in heavy rain on Hi-way 20 past Donner Summit. nature washed car and gear on trailer. I only used less than 2 gas cans (10 gal.) for entire week of giving buggy rides, 100+ missions. Resolved to replace geo metro as towing vehicle next year, looking for pickup with camper or van... :coffee:

This is the correct thread. I'm removing items slowly from my van. More than one item a day, but it will still take forever before I can go to work without wearing a rubber suit.

We decided, we're not even going to bother cleaning or putting away all the things.
Instead, we're just gonna leave them in a giant pile in the garage tell next year.

Who's ready for 2014?
We are!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna look for a boat trailer to build another playapod on.

With the longer tongue, I'm thinking it will look like the space shuttle without the wings.

The pointy nose will cut through the wind and will be used for storage space with big hatches for easy access. 8)

The only things I wanted and didn't have: cast iron skillet and a whisk.

The things I had but didn't need: too many to count. My 2014 preparation will be limiting my pile o' junk to ONLY 64 cubic feet, plus another 64 cubic feet for the hexayurt.

Two enamel cups, one red, one blue, for other camp mates who didn't like the spare titanium cup. Wimps.

A new trike, very nice. Will tart it up, maybe get electric assist. Woohoo!
