Deep in the jungles of some forgotten island you will find the Paradise Motel, long abandoned by the US military after performing … experiments. Horrible, horrible, experiments. Which left the island inhabited by poor mutated creatures (and one mad scientist). The natives still serve the GI's favorite snow cones and play their oddly rhythmic music in hopes they will return some day. Beware the mutant creatures that lurk within, but perhaps you'll pity a poor creature and take it home with you. Look for the palm trees, flamingoes and Paradise Motel sign for snowcones every afternoon.
Yes, Paradise Motel will return this year to serve up more snow cones and a return of our beloved Mutant Animals! As you can see from the blurb, we've come up with a convoluted back story for them to fit into this year's theme that I doubt anyone will actually get …. but who cares, mutant animals are freekin adorable!
Our camp is mostly queer but have a few breeders in the bunch. We are doing a meal plan this year with our cooks Patrick and Kate. They work at fancy restaurants, but somehow only got one star from some tire company guide book. Membership this year is semi-closed. Meaning folks need to be sponsored by a current camp member, hung out at our camp previous years and/or come to one of our camp events before the burn. We will have one more Mutant Animal party in SF and LA before the burn and of course work parties. Yes, you CAN sleep your way into the camp, but helping with projects is preferred. More details HERE
