tpbm watches cooking shows

Not really. I find it stressful to keep track of everything they're doing and can only watch briefly for reasons of technique or cooking theory (from someone like Alton Brown) or someone who's very sensible and errs on the side of simplicity, like Jamie Oliver. He had a recipe for baking a salmon in a pit on the beach in herbs and lemon slices. :o

The person below me ends up listening to weird shows by accident while surfing the internet.

2865 miles if you count my foray into Reno on gate eve (and the double back) according to Googoo maps

Not the longest but long for me, any longer and I'd be in Cali or the Pacific or something like that.

TPBM has waited a LOOOOOONG time before finally coming home again this year.

I need to glue my current boots together, but if I happen upon some new boots I might just buy them.

Ah, my father's birthday is June 13, and my mother doesn't like Hallmark Holidays, so it was never a "thing" with us. But on the 14th my father and I went on our Thursday evening walk (yes, it was Friday, but I don't want to complicate the narrative) and we saw two cats (including College Cat, who was outside on the walk, not up on the roof by the chimney where we've seen her for months now) and a bunny. My father decided that a bunny is worth three cats. The bunny was white, and attempting to hide behind a white stake, but it didn't work, because it was a narrow stake. Then we saw four JotS. Economy must be picking up for all that work to be going on on people's houses...

TPBM thinks I added the bunny for Knowmad. (How could you? Don't you trust me?)

Oh yeah, my father like the birthday card, because it had lots of cats on it, and he liked the chocolate grater, because it was what he had asked for--but I forgot to ask him if he'd tried it out this morning.

One folding knife (but I'm not sure where it is), a multitude of flashlights, some of which I can find. I don't think any of them listen to Chet Atkins, not having ears & all.

Maybe as a very small child I'd eat out of the dog's bowl, but not that I can remember. I'm horribly fussy. Besides, when push comes to shove, we'll eat anything. That's what the "omni-" means.
TPBM has come to terms with the fact that there's cannibalism if s/he goes far enough back in the family tree. (And has a smoother metaphor, as well.)
