Hi

Hi

Postby imsodamnedrich » Thu May 23, 2013 8:17 am

so this is "our" first year to go to burning man.

we have two huge Prevost RVs, one with 6 beautiful rich Hollywood guys (sorry cant reveal our real names) and one RV with our support staff, chef, butler, security, and three beautiful hookers, and a rickshaw driver.

I know you all will think we are assholes but you would do it this way if you were as damned rich as I am.

We'll see you people on the playa, but were wondering if there was any advice on if we should park our super fancy gigantic crazy buses as far towards the front as we can get or far in the back where you regular people wont have to look at us and be jealous.

We are just like you except rich and obnoxious. And we will get to take showers in a two bathroom RV every day and have hookers service us as we see fit and a world famous chef who wanted to come along for the burn and to cook foise gras for us and other decadent treats.

I think you should camp as close as possible to lamplighters so my good friend lemur can assist with your logistics.

So... this got me thinking.
Will this arrangement make the Hookers the definition of Plug and Play camping?

Isn't Burning Man where strippers and hookers go on vacation anyway?

I was going to recommend a stop at the Department of Public Works, because I imagine they would be very welcoming, but I really do think Lemur would be just as prepared to render aid.

not only would DPW probably be happy to lend heavy equipment and manpower to help set them up, but I bet the nice folks at Gate and Perimeter, upon seeing the super cool rig and equipment, would probably let them cut the line and or go in the delivery entrance.

probably.

If I am not mistaken, there is a "D"lightful semi-private lot for such a group, where they may rest from their long travels, apart from the rabble making their way into the city.

I call bullshit, real obnoxiously rich people would have staff looking into such trivial details. But whether you're a troll or some struggling dude trying to pretend to be a playboy with staff (or something else entirely), I don't really care. Park and set up camp in any open space that you like once you arrive. Getting reserved or premium real estate in Black Rock City is a remarkably egalitarian process… all you have to do is put in the time and effort to come up with a solid plan and register your theme camp (that deadline closed a month ago). Have no fear, it's a fairly big city and while everyone has an opinion as to what the best neighborhoods are, the truth is they're all great neighborhoods.

thanks for the thoughts. I have decided that we should park in the suburbs. And while our crew, and myself as the representative, might be provocative and annoying, rest assured that my introduction is not role playing and not standard trolling. We are going to the burn this year and we are as described and we will share and enjoy and create as best as we can.

see you people in the desert. :)

If all first world dwellers donate $100 each it means that third worlders only need to give $1 which is only reasonable, lets face it I AM worth it and I should not have to work.
