Missed Connections

Postby LazerCorn » Wed May 15, 2013 4:15 pm

I was wondering if there was a group forum on here where you can go to post missed connections with random strangers you meet on the Playa. I had the honor of meeting a fabulous man last year who I didn't get contact info from. I know it's like trying to shoot a fish in a barrel but I just had to try. Ever since I met him I haven't been able to stop thinking...where are you? So if anyone could point me in the direction. It would be most helpful! Thank you and see all you freaks at the Burn <3

As Fishy said, under the "Lost & Found" forum there's a "Lost People" section, designed exactly for what you're asking. The catch is that the Lost & Found gets archived in early Jan, when everything is gearing up to the current event. People also tend to look actively in Sept/Oct, but it dries up after that.

You can find the 2012 Lost & Found forums here, and you're free to post. Just don't get your hopes too high, and cross your fingers that playadipity brings you together in the dust again this year.

I can't help but step in to add that shooting fish in a barrel means something is incredibly easy. Finding a needle in a haystack is nearly impossible.
I hope you are successful finding your lost friend!!

Or maybe a phone booth....btw, what is a phone booth anyway?
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.
