Here we go. First one is a bunch of buttons and a medal design, we're toying with the idea of replacing the hand-cast buttons on my pirate coat with something next generation (as well as using them on an airship pilot/pirate coat design we've been toying with)…
This next one is pretty awesome. Both because it's just a fun design, and because Pandorra did it from the ground-up in one of the little 123d app on her iPad. No big spendy software was used to make it.
This is another piece I really like. We've been toying around with this art concept for 4-5 years now called 'orchidtecture.' Sort of steampunk architecture meets organic things, it was concocted as part of a virtual art installation we made in Second Life years back. Anyways, that's been bouncing around since, and she's fooled around with orchid designs for clothing and 3D design projects over the years. When she got her tophat last year, she took one of the existing designs she had and had it 3D printed in metal to add as a decoration.
And then finally is another thing that we're still tinkering around with… an iPhone case with our camp symbol and some hotrod style flames. The version pictured almost
worked (the placement of a couple of the cutouts was off by a few mm), both of us got sidetracked by other things but we'll probably get around to finishing it up in the next few weeks.
All those are some fun works in progress, and will hopefully make it to the playa with us in one form or another.
