post your WEIRD DREAMS here

Postby clocksnmirrors » Tue Mar 19, 2013 1:16 am

i just woke up from an insane dream where i had ordered a big mac and fish sandwich from mcdonalds. i got to my destination and found a half eaten cheeseburger instead of the fish sandwich. so i went back to the mcdonalds and demanded they make it right. the assistant manager was none other than comedian louis ck. he didn't want to do anything extra for me but i was persistent. so he put together a swag package of several note pads, soe mints and a couple of other tiny knick knacks.

weird stuff

This was a long time ago, I must've been 5-years-old or so, but the strange part about my dream that I remember was that it ended with scrolling credits. The color of the text was yellow. There might've even been a false memory of a title screen too. Unfortunately, I couldn't read any of it, as we can't read in dreams.

used to have flying dreams, very real , flew to portland one night and landed on a roof , was very real and was scared to just jump off the roof and take off again. I woke up and never had another flying dream :( I think my fear killed them :(

Had a dream I was stuck in a giant pinball machine with the A-Team. Minus Mr. T....? We were trying to avoid this 30 foot tall steel ball. Luckily, it didn't move very fast.

Weird dream time: Mindy and Drew invited me over for dinner, we were all chatting, having fun, mindy and I continued our conversation as she loaded the washer. Drew was looking for a box of eclectic antique stuff (from what I remember, it was awesome stuff). Then their small son, about 4ish, came over and we started talking. He was a very intelligent boy! I noticed something different about him though. The top of his head was missing, It was a clean cut, not bloody or gory, it looked like that was the way is was supposed to look. What filled his head was a semi-thick teriyaki sauce with toasted sesame seeds. I was all aghast looking at it, I couldn't take my eyes off of his open head. Drew said, "go ahead and try it! It's really good!" And assured me it was alright...so I did...it was good. Then I went into the bathroom to rinse my mouth out. I looked to my right and noticed that the bathtub was full of water, and a grey cat dove in and started swimming. Mindy said he does that all the time. We all repaired to the livingroom and Drew gave me a sound sample of his HUGE stereo system. It was soooobig! I've never seen a stereo system that big! It had 6' tall speakers, 26" woofers, 10" tweeters. The sound was AWESOME! We ate, had a fabulous dessert, then I woke up...the end. I posted this in FB, and saw this thread!

Thanks Clockie! :D

btw, the new avatar is absolutely fabulous!

I dreamt of a world once where I was certain I had died in my sleep and gone on to whatever heaven lies in the here after. I had wings of silk and iridescent scales and I could climb on the winds up high to examine ancient ruins growing out of the sides of mountains like honey combs for humans building ever upwards and only ever reachable if you were born there or had wings. The rivers were pure and full of fish and paddle boats carried people up and down the gorges and at night they'd stop in rope bridge villages clinging to the sides of the cliffs and we'd drink and dance under paper lanterns strung across the tops of the cliffs and in the morning we'd putter on down stream, sharing and trading fish and stones and gems and silks and no one had to worry about starving or banks or rent or beurocracy, there was enough of everything for everyone to have their fill and more, and no one wanted to have or to own too much because that would just weigh a person down. People gave away their posessions in order to lighten themselves...because you had to carry everything with you wherever you went, and if you got too weighed down, then you stopped moving and that was lamentable, because this world was so amazing, everyone wanted to see and experience every inch of it, and only those who posessed nothing save their wings and their clothes could fly and they were the luckiest of all. Everyone else was bound to the earth and could never get to those amazing high places and see the flowers blooming in the clouds.

Part of me hopes that's what's waiting for me on the other side. I still see glimpses of it in my dreams. I still see the purple mountains and the silver rivers and smell the jasmine blossoms along the river banks.

That's nice. It sort of reminds me of Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass.

well

i can't tell you how the dream started, but i can tell you it was a manhunt. two evil witches were on a killing spree, eliminating a small group of people. I was the last among them ad i managed to escape their arrows by flying away. i tried to lay low in the city. it's all a bit muddled now, but at some point i was at a gathering seated around a table with some friendly people and we listened to a radio program. one of the callers made an off color remark that shocked and amused the guests, one of whom was a chunky religious lady with a fat little daughter. but somehow i was the youngest sister from "game of thrones". a new terminator was sent to hunt my brother down, harry potter style. i ended up in a sword fight game where i won my round but the next poor fellow was stabbed through the heart. i was on the run again and the terminator was closing in. an elderly gentleman wizard was giving me some advice and asked me if i had what it took to survive and overcome. i asked him if HE had what it took to overcome. he was amused that i'd answered his question with the same question. he sent me on my way and i wandered the streets looking for a place to hide.

how exhausting

hah nice video.

my family was sstaying at a hotel in a vegas type town. my mother had won a chance to be interviewed by a magazine. we were to be transported by complimentary taxi over to the magazine. they were only taking people two at a time. i was paired with some random old lady and we were next and the taxi was taking forever and i decided fuck it i'm not going.
somehow my family was all from india when i went to my parent's room to tell them. i declared that i was going to get a bus ticket and ride home.

then somehow i was driving home on a go cart. i took a wrong turn onto a small side road where there was some natural gas tank. i got tangled up with the tank and knocked it over trying to get free. the tank crumpled and i feared an explosion so i got the hell out of there. i was driving down the street not wearing my glasses and almost ran up on the sidewalk.

there was also some kind of pogo stick enclosed in a giant exercise ball and some dude was giving a demonstration of how much more efficiently it bounced. i opened it and looked inside and there was a tray mounted on criss-crossed rubber bands. i'm not sure if i was able to ride or not.

the next thing i remember was walking down a hallway of a convention type center. i was walking next to a really handsome former coworker. we ran into a couple of other former coworkers seated in a loungy area. after we greeted them and moved on the good looking guy told me about the company where he worked. he said some other guys we knew had all gone to work there. he invited me to come check it out but asked if i had the money. i asked how much and he said $45. i tild him that was no problem. he said there would be movies and games there and if i wanted i could bring a game with me. it was going to be an all day event so i would need something to occupy some of the hours.

then somehow josh brolin and i were on a couch hangin with some other dudes. he had shaved his hair into one of those wide mohawks and tinted some of it pink. the guy on the end of the couch next to me got up and brolin leans over and rests across my lap and says "i'm goin to fight the peen tomorrow. you wanna come over?" i was about to answer yes but i woke up.
