Transformational Festivals

Postby knowmad » Tue Feb 05, 2013 12:34 am

The other night a fellow burner showed me this promo clip for a documentary series coming out called the Bloom
Amidst the global crisis of a dysfunctional old paradigm, a new renaissance of human culture is underway. Over the course of 4 episodes and 23 transformational festivals around the globe, THE BLOOM: A JOURNEY THROUGH TRANSFORMATIONAL FESTIVALS explores the alchemy of themes that weave a true story of genuine hope for our times: A new blooming of human consciousness emerging through creativity, love and joy & an emerging culture pointing the way to a bright and promising future.

This looks very interesting, the Soundtracks to each episode will be released as LP's and the lineups look great.
looks like we'll be waiting till march for the first installment.

It looks like they are hitting bunch of festivals not included in the series?

Also, if you look at the Map, they put Taos, NM in Kansas... O well.

I wonder if it was premiered at SWSX? Guess I could get off my lazy ass and google it. I heard The documentary 'Spark' Fetures quite a bit of the Burn Wall Street Crew (yoooo!) and was happy to see Otto Von Danger was able to make it to the Premier.

but on a few other questions; while BM is featured and mentioned in 'the Bloom' how much of a chicken and an egg issue is it/ where does the EMD scene and rave fit into these roots. is BRC merely another bi product of the emerging global consciousness and the celebration of diversity and not so unique?

EPISODE 1 LAUNCHING MARCH 21, 2013
