*a creaking noise comes from the far reaches of the NEB that is caked in inches of playa dust......a lump appears and cracks the crust of dust off as it slides towards the nearest edge of the NEB......a figure slowly crawls out and stands up as it brushes dust off itself....*

Greetings to all in the BAR!
WOW! That was one heck of a nap, feels like I was gone for ages!!!
I will certainly try to be on here more often, Ive missed it very much!

Trilobyte I wish to thank you also for your hard work here on eplaya.
I finally got through and got my tickets ordered. Took awhile but it was well worth it.

Thanks guys. The folks at HQ have been really helpful, supportive, and accommodating over the last year and a half. Thanks to them for all of the help and guidance, as well as recognizing ePlaya's capacity for awesomeness. I'm grateful for the chance to help out. Congrats, Rhino, glad to hear you were able to get through so quickly. For those who got 'em after a more grueling process, woohoo and huzzah!

Welcome back, martiansky!

I'm off to the market, booze levels are low…must…have….supplies!!!

Impressive, yah?

I have some amazing video of Tunguska.
Appears to be an explosion rather than impact.
Clarke thought it was part of a comet, ice, etc.

I went to sleep sticky last night, mmmmmmmmm, Valentine's Day. 8) Thanks for the buns, Bunny!

I have also been way distracted today chasing the 'pornographic petroglyphs' Littleflower posted on her fb page... charming, mysterious, and still quite powerful after all these years.

'Morning, good people!

Just ready Motzky's awesome thread: "I dream of wooden ships" and immediately got the giggles.

So as not to sully an otherwise perfectly good thread, I figured I'd stop by the bar and tell you all what I dream about:

I dream about having babies.

Having babies and then mislaying them.

Having babies then going about my day, and then looking on the shelf, sometimes days later, and seeing my baby there and yelping "omg! I totally forgot about you!!!!". Whipping out a boob and frantically getting that baby fed and fine again.

Obviously somewhere in my subconscious I've got some stellar creations lying, just begging to be nurtured. Just can't for the life of me find the fucking shelf I put them on. Dammit.

Where the fuck did I put my inward-looking glasses, anyway!!!

OOhhhh, sticky buns! Thanks Knowmad!

Well, I suppose I better go do something semi-productive!
Hope you all have a good day!

Yes, Misa! I'm preparing bicycles for the Playa. Are you going to want to borrow one for the event? I'll have around 15 loaners as usual, so I can put your name on one. :?:

Afternoon all! Gee knowmad, I'm sorry I missed the sticky buns. Well, I went to a pull your own car part place today. (I love that place!) I was looking for a couple of parts for my van that I'm trying to sell. I may have a buyer!! However, I didn't have the right tools to remove it...going to try again on Sunday.

I'm also getting a couple part for my Saturn. I'm going to put it up for sale also. I'm going to be looking for a cargo van. It'll be easier for me to get in and out of and I'd like to tranform the back. I got the idea from a great friend of mine!

Ok! Time for a rootbeer float!

Yes, I sure am.

Soooo.... Reservations for Playa bicycles to borrow for the whole event being taken now. I have bicycles for all heights of people. I just ask that you try real hard not to lose it, so please always lock it. And please bring your own lights also. I tried supplying lights a few years ago, but that turned out to be too expensive for so many bicycles -- since they often fall off and become lost.

What if I don't want to be "nice"? Have you ever seen George Carlin's routine about the word "nice"? He made such fabulous voices, and he had an extremely elderly and "out of it" lady talking about things and people she considered "nice". I shudder just to think of the voice -- like Edith Bunker on the old TV show.
