I picked up a 5 buck Rubbermade 5 gal. cooler, a 8 buck 6'6" dome tent, and 2 buck pair of LED candles at the Goodwill thrift store. I will carry these on my golfcart, so that I may overnight away from my basecamp. I love bargain shops, brand new goods for next to nothing. :)

Finished my first batch of 75 scarves as gifts. Image

Bagged them in a space saver bag. Way heavier than I thought they were.

This project is put away until I finish my lion. I cut out his backside last night so I can drill in and place the tail. Then it's time to wrap him up, skin him and start crocheting.

Finally got my own sewing machine :D Cleaned another layer of dust off of Hubbie's burning boots & repaired a few vests. Next step is to order some L-wire & a couple more headlamps online. Anybody got some good cheap website suggestions for where to find these items?

While prepping for a recent pajama-themed meeting, it occurred to me that I was lacking in the PJ department. I'm not normally much of a pajamas wearer, either sleeping in underwear, shorts, or sweatpants and t-shirt much of the time. I made do with the sleepwear I had (and rocked a red silk robe I had in a bin somewhere), but it got me thinking that having kickass pajamas might be something I wanted to sort out. For home, for the playa, for the next pajama-themed meeting *shakes fist*

I had a lot of ideas for fun PJ's in my head, but ye olde internet searches weren't providing much in the way of results that matched what was in my brain (as happens). I couldn't find a fabric print design I liked, and I didn't really want to devote the time and resources into making some kind of kickass onesie (we've made a few for friends over the years). Then a friend of mine tipped me off to these japanese kigurumi pajamas. Awesome stuff - I suddenly went from being frustrated that I couldn't find anything I liked to being torn between several cool designs to choose from. Ultimately I went with the classic dinosaur, which arrived today.

Charging the 6 volt battery on my 18 horse Harley cart today. It would not crank this am. Took my electric Harley out for a joy ride, will charge it up later.

Bought a Swedish flag,an Iowa flag and 2 solar bike lights. Thinking about getting the royal scotish flag. I looked it up and only certain people can fly it. I am one of those because I am a direct descendant of sir William alexander earl of stirling. He is my 11th great grandfather. I think it would be cool to have my heritage out on the playa. In pretty proud of it.

Next month after bills are paid we are buying our car ports and when we get our taxes back it will take care if our geni and gas to and back to bm.

Also need to buy a new pair of footie Jamies sense I blew the ass out on the other ones.

Oh yeah got a golden ticket.

A bottle of vodka with programmable scrolling LED's on it.
Fun for giving out shots on the back streets in the dark.
