Ideas for games

Postby moonwookie » Wed Jan 09, 2013 9:06 pm

The mind boggles with the opportunities. Take something that everyone knows and make up new rules for it. Invent a game and teach others to play. Take a game and completely distort the scale (up OR down!).

I am already planning on bringing my miniature pool table. I was also thinking about taking something that would ordinarily seem antithetical to the surroundings...Monopoly...and making a complete home brew board, pieces, and "currency". Miniature art cars for the tokens, random locations for the "properties", wacky random action cards that could easily send someone playing off to do something and then return (or not!), and something VERY simple to act as the currency in the game - something ephemeral and yet lasting. I haven't quite worked out what that would be.

You can play anything but "Tag" because I am "IT"!

I quit while I was ahead, and if you think I'm giving up my title, you're crazier than I am.

You can play a game with the same rules but you'll have to call it something else like "Cooties", "Lepper", or "Moop Monster.

Because I am "IT" and I always will be! 8)
