FOUND: Large Men's ring

FOUND: Large Men's ring

Postby shubes » Sat Dec 01, 2012 12:43 pm

...out on the playa somewhere after some morning of mooping up after your ass'.

I'll say that it's silver but it has distinctly unique features. If you can aptly describe them it will sufficiently prove to me that it's indeed yours.

Yeah, I know but I have just recently sorted through some of my shit and rediscovered the ring and some other stuff. I still have unpacking to do yet, peh! And I might as well just say this now, I'm totally unprepared for next year.

It is silve, although it also has what look like ancient postage symbols stamped into it, and it reads "adventure"
It is a size 11.5
It was not a man's ring, but was rather worn about the thumb of a woman.
It has always been a bit too loose, and it was lost during the massive whiteout on Tuesday afternoon during travel out to the Temple for a Guardian shift.

It is mine.

I would love to have it back, unless it fits you and you like it - it did find you, after all.

What a nice way to put that! I wish I had found your ring. It would be in the mail today.

I tell myself that all the stuff I didn't bother to unpack is just already packed for next year. ;)

Last year was the first year that I unpacked very little, other than my clothes. It worked out so well that it really encourages laziness in the most dreadful way.

Give it a week and if it the owner doesn't come forward I'd follow Elsewise's advice: If you like it and the ring found you anyway, it's yours.

Dear Shubes,

It sounds as though you may have found my wedding ring! I lost it during the event, just 2.5 weeks after getting married!!! I checked on here many times and posted on the lost jewellery.

My ring was inscribed with my wife's name and the date of our wedding, I will say it was August and my wife's name starts with a D and has four letters.

I cannot thank you enough for posting on here and have everything crossed you have found it, I was absolutely devastated to lose it.

Sincerely
Andy aka Tetris
