After mental grumbling about the wussy people around me who dont appreciate weather changes I was just looking into a visit to Kalispell to watch winter begin when our storm finally arrived . Two days of warning to batten down the hatches and yes shingles are flying.

Missa that is indeed a handy device ! lovely.
well wishes for the fray ...

hi 420.......I"m on a good hill, thanks. and I set up drainage, wherever I live, well ahead. Not to say things don't spring a leak, but, falling trees notwithstanding, all should be fine.

Good news Grai! Happy for you. Thx for the coffee. Morning 420 and YG. Hell of a storm here all night and more for today and the weekend. Glad you're ok up there YG. Tough to keep your powder dry in this weather. See from the weather reports that Gerlach has and is getting some of this rain as well. Maybe good news for the Playa surface next year. Ran into a bunch of Burner friends at the SF Opera (La Tosca) last evening. Burners are everywhere!

Good Morning! Congrats Grai!!! I am glad it is all working out for you.

So, I was driving to work this morning and it was raining heavily. I saw a man walking on the other side of the road with some sort of jacket. Of course, only after few seconds I realized I had an umbrella.
I wanted to pull a Shambala, and offer him my umbrella, but... by the time I thought of all this, I was already close to freeway and couldn't turn around. I am sure kicking myself for not being ON it.
Arrghhhh!!! Useless intentions, I tell ya!

Otherwise, rain in Reno is a treat! I am enjoying the weather.

Good afternoon everyone!!!
It has been very rainy here in Midtown Sacramento. Power has gone out a few times and my friend's classroom was flooded. I have been called off of work from the restaurant I work at so I begin the day with lots of homework. How is everyone else doing? Anyone ready to throw some rain boots on with me and go dancing in the rain?

Hey GD!!
you know, if it's that cold, those pants may not be good for advertising............just sayin.

Hi Tink!! did you get the rubber boots I suggested? perfect day for "jump and splash" which is the dance I do, given the same circumstances.

yeah asd, I love the trees as they creak, and pop and snap, in the first heavy rains and wind of the season.
