Naw, I live to eat, so I have to work out a ton (and I'm scared to get my cholesterol checked).

The person below me looks forward to preparing a specific dish on Thanksgiving.

No. I tend to hunker down and think about the holidays as little as possible.

Still a couple weeks off isn't it? eep. no, not next week? already? We're going to my nephew's in-laws to be for dinner. huh? I love to frighten folks by offering to make our family's traditional jello... seriously we love it. Black cherry Jello and EMO and black cherries and walnuts, believe it or not. remember EMO? I sneak in the full strength sour cream when I make it. Foodies blanch when they hear of it. Funny how some traditions get entrenched. Children of the 60's and I think my Mom got it out of a Sunday Parade supplement to the paper. Put it on the plate with the hot food, and it adds something to gravy and dressing.
tpbm understands.

Je ne sais pas. I was a big fan of Finger jello as a kid, then two years ago I had Strawberries and Wine Jello on the Playa It was Ice cold and made with Cherry 7-up. they made it in the bottle so it would keep the carbonation, Fizzie zinngie and little chewie. = Mind Blown.

5 Natives, a haunch of Venison, frybread, and some old-crow, simmer 400 years near a roaring fire, add a dash of remorse and a pinch of self depreciating humor. and BLAM! that's how we roll.

If I was going to Dinner at my famlys home it would become a more Rucus than if i were to talk politics. My family is football nuts and every one is a professional critic. plus they all believe Holmgren was Seattle's best chance Evar for a Supperbowl. What a bunch of hooie.

I had to look up what a Galea is, and, no, in some areas one is definitely not just a fashion accessory.

TPBM should really get that book back to the library soon.
