Lucky you, TG!!! I have a soft spot for old jewelry.
I recently inherited my husband's great grandmother's beautiful looking buttons... I plan to make jewelry out of it.

Six weeks of happiness is about what any marriage contains, anyway. So let's enjoy it, while we got it.

I think it was in part due to having that "Jail Sucks" thread to thrash on.

My god, you're right. And Trilo closed that thread. We'll all start crashing some time this evening, with some lasting until Monday morning. Then we'll be saying:
Fuck! Where's Bar #4? on page 8, after all the new fuck threads we had to install!

It’s quite a feat to be arrested twice in one night for DUI. It’s All-Star levels of stupidity (and time travel!) to be busted on two separate occasions at the same time. Early on the morning of Nov. 4, police in Urbana, Ohio, helped 22-year-old Niles Gammons achieve the remarkable achievement. Gammons was pulled over at 1:08 a.m., failed a breathalyzer, was arrested, cited and released within an hour. At which point, clocks were turned back when Daylight Saving Time ended. Gammons was then pulled over -- by the same officer -- in a parking lot at...1:08 a.m.

I'm nervous. You went from "big Jim and the twins" to "throws meat on (fire~) for breakfast" a bit fast and sudden for me. (Thanks for the great 'toon, yg!) :D

Lots of rain and very little tennis! Dang! But got a bit of pottery done and that's good. Have a safe trip, YG. And yes PH, he surely does have the gin stashed somewhere. Evening, Gyre.

Hey, I closed the jail sucks thread days ago - if that was responsible for inactivity in the fuck thread, it would have sprung back to fucking life back then.

Yggy, is that three partial unicorn skeletons on that GP&E insignia? Have a safe trip, and hopefully you get a few honks of recognition from people along the way.

Fun vid, Piehole. Did you fly into LA and then drive up from there with your campmates? Don't beat yourself up over missing a deadline or participation/volunteer opportunity in your first year. It's kind of expected - and it's one of the reasons why a lot of veterans do what we can to encourage first timers not to make a bunch (or any) commitments. Sorry to hear that 2013 is in question, hopefully things work out between now and then.

Boo for one of the rare rainy weekends in SF being the same weekend we got a new storage place. Instead of running around between the old and the new with any loads or getting anything run over from our place, we largely stayed home and worked on plans (for storage, for camp, for our living space). Rain or shine, hopefully tomorrow's a little more productive.
