This thread has been moved to The Q & A Tips & Tricks forum, where an all-purpose thread should be. :)

My biggest issue this year was footwear again.

My hiking shoes died before the gate even opened. My boots held up well but were a royal pain in the ass to lace up everytime I needed a late nite run to the jots or wanted to change an outfit. Next years plan is to bring a pair of moccassins as well as hiking shoes and hopefully a lighter weight pair of boots (preferably with lace in zippers).
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Crypto, That reminds me of something Dr Dean once said about too much roughage and 'passing lawn furniture'.

There is an actual poster or something advertising a high end hat that tells the story of one of these hats being eaten by an elephant and passing through the gut unharmed. And they just washed it and wore it again, I think. Maybe the elephant ate it again. It's one of my marks of something. This is not the first time I've referenced it on the board, either...

That movie has everything.

Well, not hat survival stories, but everything else. Well, no kitchen sink, but I think we can edit one in with artistic integrity.

Watch out, Honey Badger! The Hyenas are in Town!
