I had written up a great response to a past post here, but I was too late for that one, and now I have to come up with another.

actually, not really. i never reflect on the sun's illumination of my own person.

but there is a noteworthy moment burned into my memory.

august in chicago. in the 80s. sitting in the interior of an older model buick or some such.

i cracked a peanut in the stillness

and the wisp of dust that floated up from the shell was illuminated by the sun.
i'll never forget that image.

I probably would have if I'd had it when I was young. Now, I'm pretty sure it's made from some disgusting part of an animal and that it was a food of the poor. Wait, I don't object to eating like the poor, per se. I'm after something that becomes "natural" because you're around it all your life, but the upper classes don't eat because they can get better and I'm only digging myself deeper and deeper into this hole.
TPBM thinks, well, at least Fishy's post had some dramatic tension.

Why no, not at the moment. I am seated in my response unit waiting for the next 911 crisis to erupt.

tpbm doesn't realize that some people call 911 because they need a ride to the Hospital for a scheduled appointment.

Did RHPS weekly for a few years so I've seen Shock Treatment on the big screen.
Although we never played it during the Halloween double-feature, for that special night we played Moulin Rouge (or Heavy Metal 2000 or Buck Rogers spliced with hippie porn.)

TPBM is planing on seeing RHPS live sometime in the next 31 days.

I thought the black licorice was recently found to contain lead.... a certain "vines" brand anyway. It's a good thing I like red licorice. but no thanks on the ice cream.
