...bite my tongue when people who dont go to BMan start talking about BMan

I was hanging with 2 of my fav musicians recently and it was a really amazing moment that we were having. But for some reason the drunker one says to the more sober one, "Hey have you ever gone to Burning Man?" out of the blue....the other musician says "No"...which was kind of obvious since he is in a successful band on the road all the time that isnt very much the type. The drunker one says "Me either, and I don't want to". Suddenly it gets silent like its my turn (they both know I go) so I say "Yeah fuck Burning Man, who needs it anyway!" all jokey, and quickly changed the subject. I just didnt want to get into it.....So tired of being all BUT DUUUUDES......I dont even bother with some folk. Most peeps are so tired of hearing about it.

Don't mind pissing in jugs til they're full, loading my bike with them and dumping them in the porta potties. Okay, I kinda mind the dumping part but someone has to do it.

have a unnatural loathing for feathers. Saw one on the ground at work yesterday and automatically mooped it and silently cursed at whoever lost it before I realized I was in the shop at work and no one there cares if the floor is dirty. Still haven't figured out where the feather came from, but It found its way to the trash anyway.

dream in playa imagery.

still feel like I've got my goggles perched on my forehead, just in case.

Ya know, I didn't even think about all the things I didn't know how to do before Burning Man.

-...know how to install electronic breaks onto a trailer.
-...know how to build a kick as evap pond.
-...know how to fix the carburetor on a small gas engine. I had no idea how carburetor worked until the carb on the RV genie had to be fixed.
RV List:
Didn't know shit about RV plumbing. Using propane to cause refrigeration (still only have a small grasp on this concept), what a fan-clutch is/how it works/how to replace it. I've learned a metric F!@# load about 12Vdc!!!

As of this weekend, I discovered :

I now get -outraged- when I come across MOOP in places it shouldn't be. Took a long hike up a river this weekend, and the level of trash we found and hauled out was appalling. We couldn't -carry- it all. :(
