Maybe Goddesses who do terrible things are forced, as karmic punishment for their misdeeds, to cavort en masse with people who "earn" it. Thus it's not about who or how many you bomb, but whether or not there's a surplus of naughty goddesses about that week.

I wasn't even familiar with them before, but the mention of their names makes my skin crawl a little bit. There's something so... culty about their brand.

I have no problem with people's beliefs and practices being culty... at least no more than I have with the mainstream religions. But I get this hero-worship vibe when people talk about these two. Whatever; it's a matter of taste, not principle (and it's purely a gut feeling, not something I could argue for rationally. Probably just my over-skeptical nature kicking in). But I do raise an eyebrow at the idea that someone's desire to go see them is a reason to fix that person up with tickets. (Although, if I were still looking for tickets, who knows what religions I'd promise to join -- fingers crossed behind my back -- in order to get them? ;))

I'm bypassing run-of-the-mill Mormonism for Mormasonry, which is a bit more... esoteric. That's totally different from culty -- really!

Okay, something where you have to look at entrails?

If you want these burningman tickets you must open up 10 goats a day for a month!

OK, I know this isn't a ticket begging post, but I'm sure it's worth a comment or two http://eplaya.burningman.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=56391
I couldn't think of anything nice to say, so I just didn't post anything at all. Out of the mouth of babes.

That one's a little scary. Not only a minor who's trying to endgame parents who may not approve of the idea, but doesn't appear to have the kind of basic understanding you'd get from the survival guide/first-timer's guide. But hey, he'll be gifting condoms and waterguns….

I guess an RV with good karma (car-ma?) was a station wagon in a past life and will be a houseboat in its next one (if it keeps up the karmic goodness). Then a yacht, then a rocketship. Of course, it's hard for an RV to maintain good k/carma, what with the gas-guzzling and all. It probably has to be pulled by extremely well-treated, grass-fed oxen or something.

I will never give or sell a ticket to anyone who abuses a word like "manifest" in such a manner.

Just say NO to word-abuse.

Hey, I'm culty, got karma, still in play and looking for a ticket, but I just now stumbled upon the Score Card.
This really could have helped me out. Ummm...it would have been a miracle of incredible sharing from amazing people, who aren't sellouts, like those virgins in the RVs are. Like sacred hugs on my birthday from sharing souls, a marriage of magical people. Every molecule of my essence is telling me to beg....err...attend....err...I mean, contribute. My grandma is dead....
