I've got both the Lemon Head from this year, and the Atomic fireball from last year and the former definitely weighs more than the latter! What an unbelievable waste of natural resources to ship these things around the country! Another example of BMOrg's terrible inefficiency this year.

Also, both Lemonheads and Atomic Fireballs are from the company Ferrara Pan. I can't believe they didn't solicit bids for other hard candy companies!

I have a feeling I am going to enjoy the meet and greet in oh so many ways! My girlfriend ate the lemonhead so I have no idea if they are as wonderful as the atomic fireballs.

You have all made me very sad. I wear my See's uniform to centercamp at dusk and hand out hard candies to the couch potatoes. AND I was planning to do fireballs at the meet and greet. Now what? Think Ratty, think.

Maybe if instead of just fireballs, you did Atomic fireballs-with a ritual opening of the envelope...

I always hang there a moment so they can put their wrapper in my little velvet moop bag. I may wear my uniform one day as a greeter. (It gets pretty grungie after a few outings.)

To take the edge off of my sadness about not going to the burn this year, I mailed myself a fireball.
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

After getting my fireball in the mail I decided to take a big bag to the burn and enjoy them.

In Mexico the party store had the most outrageous candy I've ever seen. It was for stuffing into your pinata. Little candy balls that come in over-sized, see-through plastic hypodermic needles. The needle was a flexible plastic and the whole thing made me stare in wonderment. My jaw dropped. I can only imagine the delight as the little ones scooped that prize off the ground. (Travel is broadening).
