Sadly I reckon that you'd accidently get bitten first

We'd be relying on you and there would be a humourous (not for you..) misadventure involving a wall/window that you fell through and you would be zombie food.

Have some faith Mel. I have done tests and they all agree i am the last one to get bit before the end of the movie and i die gloriously saving the rest of you. However since watching Zombieland i conclude i want to be tallahasee after unless these new fangled running zombies happen to be the ones we getall we need to do is walk quickly to safe.

26 years of planning, I even have a burning man zombie plan (flamethowers are NOT a good weopon against zombies) though the drive over is definately a weak point in my plan we are well equpied and it being America we have a good chance of finding firearms fairly easily (not going into town to get the bag we dropped next to the tank like those idiots in walking dead)

i'm thinking we may need a zompokolypse plan thread is there one?

True Story

Postby catinthefunnyhat » Tue Apr 24, 2012 8:17 am

True Story of the Day:
I grew up in a small, northern town in the 1970s/80s. The hippest store in town was a drugstore -- drugstores in that setting being kind of like general stores, selling food, posters, cosmetics, toys, cheap jewelery... everything a kid could want -- anyways, this particular drugstore, I kid you not, was called:

                  DISCO DRUGS

IIRC, the place was pretty psychedelic-looking, too... all giant purple-and-white checkerboard flooring, bright lights, and groovy fonts.

Can't imagine why hanging out on ePlaya and daydreaming about BM would make me suddenly think of Disco Drugs.

Hee! I'm old enough to be familiar with that term, but never used it. But Prince was using it back when my friends and I were taping his music off the radio.... So, I guess it makes you an age-mate of Prince?

Now I've got "Raspberry Beret" going through my head. And since the only cure for an earworm is to share it...

Bobs on the Playa!

Bobs on the playa! :D

If only I could cut hair!
I would have a salon at BM called Bobs on the Playa.

It would have pictures of famous (to the Playa) Bobs:

And it would offer just one kind of haircut: The bob (obviously).

"Bob" is described at one point, quite aptly, as "A comicbook character who communicates with space aliens and worships money".) "Bob" was considered to be the best salesman of all time. The church claims that "Bob" (the quotes are included when spelling his name, supposedly as a symbolic halo around his name) founded the church after he saw a vision of JHVH-1 (or "Jehovah-1") on his homemade TV.
"Bob" was killed in San Francisco in 1984 (though former church members state this was just a publicity stunt). Since that time, he has been killed and subsequently returned from the dead many times through a process known as teledeportation. The church, however, denies any similarity between this claim and the Biblical account of Jesus' resurrection.
