Happiness is watching your parents turn into 5 yr olds and stand in awe infront of Bellagio water show.
Happiness is when its your turn to show your parent "the world".

:)
Last night was spent with someone I've had a huge crush on for the past year and it was very pleasant. She brought over her telescope and let's just say we never got around to putting it together ;)
While out with her and my roommate, I was offered a bar-tending gig which if it comes through, will bring peace to my woes and stresses about finances.

I am trying to culminate all the positiveness I can conjure to make this happen, so far it has been a giggity-giggity day

This is one of the 3-day-old lotus blossoms, (Var. Perry Slocum) that I had my morning coffee with today. The flower lasts about 4 days. I say they "smell good", my garden club ladies/neighbors say they have a "very pleasant fragrance". Whatever....bacon.

In a flagrant display of slow news dayism, I was mentioned in a front page article in our capital's newspaper, The Salem Statesman Journal:

‎"Elsewhere, a gentleman whose orange safety vest identified him as Foxfur (sample patch: "Safety Third") was enjoying a breakfast of bacon and bread toasted in bacon fat. Despite having to face the court the night before, he said that this his first year at Gemini Party would most certainly not be his last.
"I absolutely loved it", he said. "My mind was running around the whole weekend without pants on. I'll be back next year, with cowbells on.""

Night Court at Gemini Party. I was cited for disturbing the peace and excessive happiness or something. I won my case with the help of my drunken legal counsel who was wearing Hello Kitty panties.

Boobies?

Hooray!!!

Also... A recent blog post was featured (with 30 others) on the Wordpress homepage:

Might not sound so yummy but even Sweetpea enjoyed it.

Everyone feeds from others energies, this thread is great. Positive begets positive. And karma always comes full circle.

I feel like the luckiest girl in the World; I have awesome friends and family. A wonderful world around me of new places to see, things to do, and people to meet. Life is such an adventure and I want to experience the ride and journey as much as possible. So decided yesterday taking a random trip to BC tomorrow for a week. I've missed the mountains, the rainforests teeming with life and fresh greenery, and the many creeks and waterfalls. Plus the people! Can't wait to visit friends and hopefully meet some new ones.
Everyone have a super awesome day!

My horrible next door neighbors are moving out of my apartment building! In the space of 2-3 years, they have 1) yelled at their kids--and each other--both late at night AND early on Saturday mornings 2) let a tweaker relative bunk there for weeks at a time and fall asleep with the television at top volume on random weekday nights 3) played host to not only a bed bug infestation, but 4) a roach infestation. Cue nausea!

I didn't even know roaches liked this climate until these dreadful people came along.

The apartment manager tells me that after the bug bomb, he's moving in a nice pastor & his wife.

I'm so relieved.
