It will be. And hot. And dusty. Don't go.

Canoe, check out the xtracycle longtail.

There is a rhoadescar here cheap.
If you want it, I'll pack it for you.
There has been little market here.

There are a number of bike forums posted on the electric bike threads.
Last I heard, four wheels requires a permit for electric.

Thanks.
Making my own. Going for a slightly different geometry (semi-recumbent crank-forward) and 3.7/3.8" Fat tires. :D
Mid-bike NuVinci N360 with both pedal and electric assist input. Chain-ring 44/32/22 for gear inches of 28 to 102, 20 to 74 and 14 to 51 for pulling the trailers. Three inches shy of eight feet... folding back to ~five feet. Testing geometry in wood, prototype in cro-mo, final in Ti. (a custom side-car could take a stretcher: on-playa that's covered by pros so no need, but good for "naps") I'd hoped to test a functional wood version on snow this winter, but I've been tied up with other priorities. :(

Odd. No bears in the dump. Oh well, lets go across the road & pick blueberries.

... but don't harm the red dragon that frequents the area from time to time. He and I have an agreement.
