Fertility 2.0 - Rebirth of Burning Man

Fertility 2.0 - Black Rock City is a kind of Petri dish. Theme camps cling in fertile clusters to its latticework of streets, artworks tumble out of it, like pollen on the air. These nodes of interaction mutate, grow and reproduce their kind. Burning Man communities have now escaped this capsule world: our culture in a Petri dish has effloresced - it spreads across five continents. This year's art theme contemplates the tendency of any being or living system to create abundant life.

Fertility 2.0 - Rebirth of Burning Man

Is it just irony or supreme foresight that F-2.0 was chosen for 2012 long before the ticket storm?
As eloquently stated here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUMbzVNt3n8&feature=player_embedded, Burning Man has and is undergoing change. At the moment, it appears to be at such a rapid pace that one could call it rebirth!

We can use this year's theme to help get us through the on-going transformation. Once the dust has settled in the default world, we can take Halcyon's advice and work together so that the rebirth of the Man is mostly free of labor pains. Collaboration and contribution can be our epidural as this rebirth is underway. How long is labor for the rebirth? It probably depends on our community and how they respond to the challenge of being re-born!

I for one am willing to try...who is with me?!? See you at Camp Carnivore.....

So did we get completely screwed in order to be fertilized or were we artificially inseminated? That's what I'd really like to know.

That quarter you found on your pillow should give you a clue.

Dammit. The BORG didn't even have the common courtesy to give a brother a reach around, either.

At this point, Fertility 2.0 smells like so much afterbirth.

Haha, yes ... battling bitterness is a daily exericse. I shall heal, lol!

Disclaimer: I'm fully joking and in no way bitter. Props to the BORG for dealing with what they're dealing with.
