Gas Powered Blender

Postby some seeing eye » Sun Nov 06, 2011 9:24 am

Someone mentioned seeing one of these in 2007, that would be the year of the Green Man. Ironic.

The supplier would be http://www.gasblender.com/ and apparently there are others. Interesting on their web site you can order the machine with an extra "unbreakable blender jar" or you can order a replacement "unbreakable blender jar". This item is perfect for demonstrating profligate use of fossil fuels at BM, as if we need more examples.

Here is a more creative version:

There's a guy that made one from a chain saw and goes around serving Margaritas.

In 2010, I camped with a disabled burner camp and one of the vets has one, he had it in 2011 and probably for some years before 2010.

It got used, a lot, make sure the lid is on tight. Those things can fling far and wide (I wasn't there on "that night", but saw the aftermath of a party one morning, all over their RV's exteriors) and the ground tarps, and everywhere! The camp has a MOOP-czar, so no worries 'bout that issue. (I think it got loose or something, )

Yes, it's the obligatory hippie joke. I know, I'm a hater.
