Packrats? You've seen Larry's tattoo then, yeah?

I have a bunch of beer bottle caps downstairs, although no PBR. Nothing old, but I'd be glad to shoot them your way. We were saving them for a friend who was going to make a belt covered in them, but it didn't happen.

Um. Okay. You still have my address?

And if anyone wants to develop a pbr or leninade habit, getting it to me in April is fine.

Er, maybe. I cleaned out my inbox pretty well when we switched over. I'll have to look at my saved messages.

That could change with jkisha's wonderful name tags (with eplaya icon printed on). And a number of us are pretty open about where we camp. You can come and find us on any other evening of the week.

I'd like to find a small fixer-upper travel trailer, emphasis on small.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU, AntiM! The package arrived already and I about JUMPED out of my skin with excitement!! I can't even begin to remember the last time I got a package.

I've got some ideas for the fabrics and I can't wait to show them off at the Meet & Greet!

Now, to evaluate what items I have that could possibly be of use to a Burner. I had already thought about all the stuff I have, and how it'd probably not be all that suitable for this thread. But then I figured... if I don't at least *look* properly then I'm just assuming and that's never good.

So anyway, thank you times eleventy billion!

Free pattern. When I looked at it closely, I realized I wouldn't be sewing skirts and tops with back zippers when I had other options. I have a terrible time with zippers. Real salwaar kameex don't have no stinking zippers!
Uncut.

Two 7 gallon jerry cans, green plastic. Never been used, but have been out in all weather for some years, so I cannot guarantee the quality of the inside. Maybe greywater?

I have several sets of salwaar kameez, cotton, of course. Except for one dressy one I don't wear to the desert. I get them off ebay.

Good home to any extra fabric you have too little off or you no longer want to use. I'm thinking of making a patch coat or pants or skirt or gloves or leg warmers or anythingelsethatmybraincomesupwith.

All the fabric currently in my possession is boring

oki doki ! We have a store that sells 6 packs of singles. MyHandyDan is generally a willing participant in trying new ales, lagers and whatknot, so the next trip I will pick the singles based on interesting bottle caps!

and you can sneer away. liking and interesting are both subjective

Lenin-Ade is the most highly prized...

On another topic, I have two (maybe three) of those green, plastic 7-gallon jerry cans. They've never been used, but they've been sitting outside for over five years. I"m guessing that they may be worthless, but I'm opening this up here, just in case one of you thinks them a good thing.

Do they even make PBR in bottles these days? I have enough trouble finding it in cans around here.

I'll keep my eyes open for some as I certainly drink enough PBR. About how many caps are needed?
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

I have found two bottles caps from PBR on the ground over the past year or two, so I am interpolating to the existance of the bottles themselves. Stricktly speaking, I probably have enough. Even though I'd prefer more interesting ones, I can improvise. I can also send them on to the people collecting 80,000. I'm sure that they don't mind my picking out the good ones...

I've got the carpeted, plywood kit that has drawers, and storage and all that, for inside a camper shell in the bed, on a Tacoma pickup, if anyone wants.....well made, fit good.

I have a vehicle that would make a great start for a Mutant Vehicle. It is a Tennant 53 Power Sweeper. It is an older unit so the models you see when you Google it look somewhat different. It is basically a one person ride around parking lot sweeper. It is powered by a large 10-12 HP Briggs type engine. The fuel is propane. It drives and both forward and reverse work. It has no battery at this time and the propane tank is empty, but we were driving it around a couple of months ago. It is located at my shop in West Oakland. We can load it into a truck or on to a trailer for you, but you will need to come here to get it.
Naturally the cost would be $ Zero!

I also have two 5 gallon buckets of small gears and power tool repair parts. We had planned to scrap them, but they would make great little bits for an artist working with metal.

Please contact me off list if you are interested.......

The forward brush unit has been removed. I believe the lower brush unit is still in place. The vacuum unit is still functioning. I had planned an MV for this and I also studied it for my basic design for my Playa Zamboni. I am building a Mutant Vehicle that I call the Angry Ladybug. It will be for The Red One to drive. This did not have enough room to mount the turbine engine & afterburner. The propane engine on board would have been for close quarter operation, within the City etc. The gas turbine will be for open Playa.
