Illy Dilly, I swear I walked back and forth through that corner to the JOTS at least 3 times a day for 10 days straight and never knew you were there.

I never heard the megaphone, either... :?

Next year, next year I swear I am going to stand at that corner and shout for you.

LOL!
That sucks!
We had a red dome with white spots, sorta like a Mario mushroom.
We had a little tan (it was supposed to be white) fence going around the front of our camp.
We also had my tie dye Colorado flag. I found out what throws people off is that since its tie dye all the colors seem a little washed out. So instead of dark blue bars at the top and bottom they are light blue, and the red C looks more like a pinkish-red.

Did you ever check out that big star thing that was across from us and caddy corner to Boosh? They would put super low bass into the stand, so when you were in the star the whole thing would vibrate and hum. Sadly, it was across the street for 7 days and I never tried it  It was one of those "I'll do it tonight when I'm in the right *state of mind*" type of things. Then next thing you know its Sunday and they're taking it down.

That big star thing was awesome, we chatted with those folks while they were building it, a Polish family mostly living in California I believe, but I never tried it either.

I wish you had come by to lay in my hammock one afternoon, gosh we were right there... I'm voting with Graidawg on that one. *pout*

tamarakay wrote:We had a perfectly lovely time. We wish we had gotten to know a lot of you better, it seemed when we were in camp we were involved in something like schlepping drinks to naked men, painting boobies for five hours, picking up trash, picking up trash, and oh, picking up trash, that we never did get to really just sit and visit much. It was fun and the perfect camp to start off with. Barbie Death Camp rocks!

Bwahahahahahaha, I think you forgot: picking up trash  and sequins, and feathers... recycling cans, putting paper in the burn barrel, scraping up the ashes... oh and ninja raids to put solar lights on unlit stakes

bah i think burning man needs some reworking if this happens again. *sulks*

O man! G-Dawg, you heard me talk about the Gnome Dome for months!
Its cool to hear that we were a 'land mark', what did you think of the dome?
You should have come in side, it was really cozy and set up (how we imagine) a Gnome's house would be.
But I can't talk much, I knew you were staying in BDV. And since I'm still on the email list, I'm pretty sure I saw that in one of the original village lay outs, you were planned to camp in about the same spot we were in in 2010. But I do not believe that was the final layout, so things likely changed.

MDF, I wish you had come chill in our hammock! Ooo, what we should have done, was switched hammocks for a day! You can come chill at our camp and I'll go chill at your camp!

Though, now that ya'll know where we at, we're gunning for the same location next year. Already kissing Placement Team ass!
Why don't ya stick your head in that hole and find out? ~piehole

Fellow Barbiebarians! We seem to be missing about 15 planks of Barbies. If anyone has a clue as to their whereabouts please let me know. Also if you're missing any items (for example, Felony is missing the top to her crock pot) please let us know so we can attempt to get them to their rightful owners.

Actually it is a large silver stainless lid to the large stainless steel pot Firebug served her award winning chili in (OK 2nd place). All dishes were whisked off to Docs RV to be washed and the clean stuff placed back out side on the tables. The pot was there- but no lid. On that note we have a small green battery powered lantern that someone left on the ladder by our camper door on Sunday nite.

Had a party out at Folsom Lake (Sacramento) and about 20 Barbiebarians showed up. Kevin and Marci have 6 planks of Barbies, so it's working. Sort of. Like we need any more damn Barbies...

I know it's minor, but I actually left a green Camelbak 750ml sippy cup the night of the MnG..

I think I might have left my inhibitions there.

They were firmly intact before the M&G, but I've seen hide nor hair of them since.

I don't necessarily want them back. Just wonder where they got to.

I lost the cork to a brand new bottle of absinthe. Not that I really needed it once the night was over!

Delle, I've seen your inhibitions tossed around quite a bit that night, but I fear that they might be gone for good!

Ha. Perhaps your cork is showing my inhibitions a good time someplace dusty. Wouldn't surprise me one bit. :D

I hope they don't find some mass grave site that ends up on the MOOP map. That would be embarrassing.

It's a corruption of the ancient Greek "phalanx" (rectangular massed military formation), and I do mean corruption, because... well you have met those chicks right?
