Great guitarist needed for prog-rock gig in center camp

Postby PatternInterrupt » Sun Aug 07, 2011 9:33 pm

We have the drums, bass, percussion, and vocals. We have the music. We have the Tuesday evening 6pm booking.

What we need is a guitarist who is a fast independent learner to complete our super-group. It doesn't matter where you are, geographically. You just need to be awesome. We'll have 1 rehearsal, Tuesday morning, in a dome on the playa.

Here are some samples of music we may do:

Serious inquiries only.

Since we'd only have 1 rehearsal, I'd want to stick closely to the guitar parts as they are. The same applies to the rest of the band.

You see my links - Let's see some stuff you've done! That seems like a good first step to seeing if we could be a good match.

Thanks!

Aww, shucks. 8)

Chino!! You up for a guitar challenge?? (And did I tell you that I went to Berklee for their 5 week summer program between my junior & senior years of high school? That's where I got my left foot to bounce independently of my other 3 limbs... and where I first made the awkward transition from babyface to beardo.)

Here comes a PM

Hey man! I'm the guitarist in a kinda proggy, psychedelic, omni-jam-rock quartet called Wubakia, and we're bringing all our gear out to the Playa to play this year (including a fucking hammond and leslie). I've been playing for about 15 years, know theory, have a really good ear, and I learn-to-remember material really fast. No problems with frequent time signature changes, etc. I hope we can link up! I'm gonna have some nice gear out there! Feel free to call me,
