You know JR that the 20th is the day of the pre-party at my place. Why don't you plan on attending? I mean, certainly you couldn't possibly have gotten a better offer than to party with 50 burners.

Then I will take that as a yes. Who's picking you up, Blowfish, Grawg? If you fly in early enough I probably could do it as well, though Blowfish is a helluva lot closer to the airport than me. And besides, he's retired so what else does he have to do with his time besides hanging out at bars in Homer.

Due to internal miscommunications within their group, Boosh Camp will be staying in Barbie Death Village which just
opened a large piece of Playa within the Spenard Bar.
Anyone(s) intetested in joining a bunch of Dusty Alaskans please contact me ASAP.

Helllo World of Burners!
My name is Stace, i reside in Alaska. This year I made the final, "I AM GOING TO BURNING MAN(with to without you)" war cry :]
So Here I am, planning a trip to the wondrous Burning Man, all by myself. Now I work in a Medical office, and I can only take 11 days, That gives me 1 days to get there and 2 days to get back. I have not bought my plane ticket( I was waiting on a certain "you" that had to bail out due to money issues) so basically I am free to fly anywhere within reason...

SO Long question short:
Is there any lovely burners, or group of burners who would like to meet up with me at some point in their journey and let me ride along, and then bring me back so I can fly home.
I can not really tell you what this would mean for me. I have wanted with all my heart to got to Burning Man for three years, but never did because I never knew anyone to go with. But this year it is about me, DID I MENTION this is my year of threes. YUSSS it is.
I am hoping to buy my plane ticket soon, and would like to iron out the details.

hi StacEmorning !!
I go in early and will be back in the Dust and setting up our Camp on Thurs and coming out on Monday with almost 2 weeks of Playa covering everything !! ahhhhh, there's no place like Home.....
not knowing exactly what days/times you are flying and into/out of what city makes it a bit difficult but I'm sure that rides won't be a problem...
the 10 gals of water will be though.. (we have plenty so no worries)
I'll PM you with Camp info and when we're having our next get together so you can come meet lots of Ak Burners (ie, we're you're new crazy relatives) !!!

If she turns out to be a good asset JR, I just wanted to make sure you knew that I had suggested she look up The Spenard Bar. Now if she turns out to be a brain-dead useless sparkle pony (think of Yvonnes back in 2008) and is an unbareable burden on you and everyone around her, I never heard of her. Or your camp for that matter.

I have a couple Fur Rendevous pins from the 80s when I lived there. If I wear one to your place will I get special treatment? It's been a while but I recall Spenard was a shady part of town. I spent all my money at Chilcoot Charlies when it only had 2 rooms and the Cabin Tavern who had a band playing often called Titus Canby. Loved that name and will always remember it. Many fond memories of drinking, etc, overlooking Earthquake Park.

the Koots is gigantic now and the Cabin is still there, lots of new million dollar homes in Earthquake Park.. do they know why it's called "Earthquake" LOL !!!!!
