There is some scuttlebutt about Hillary stepping down. Who the hell knows. After Rahm left, there aren't any sure bets.

North Korea is a paper tiger, only know how to yell

North Korea's military has zero combat experience in 50 years. They can't fuel or feed an army in the field for very long. That said, they can do one hell of a lot of damage. The problem is that if there is war, both sides lose. South Korea probably loses the most. North Korea would lose militarily in short order (within a few months) but then South Korea would be faced with Seoul nearly wiped out, perhaps millions dead, and then be saddled with having to care for the population of North Korea. The people who would stand to make the best of it is North Korea because even if they lose, they win.

Maybe that is what the generals there are trying to do. Maybe they are tired of the megalomaniacal dynasty and are stroking the egos of "Dear Leader" in order to start a war and just get it over with. Again, even of North Korea loses, they win from a human perspective.

The Clinton Balanced Budget Myth:

http://www.factcheck.org/askfa...

Clinton ran deficits throughout all 8 years of his term, and one can go to the US Treasury Department and looking through the history of the total outstanding debt throughout Clintons term. (http://www.treasurydirect.gov/...)

Every year Clinton was in office, the total national debt continued to climb.

How Clinton managed to claim a surplus was that while the general operating budgets ran deficits but Clinton borrowed from numerous off budget funds to make the on budget fund a surplus.

For example, in 2000, Clinton claimed a $230B surplus, but Clinton borrowed
$152.3B from Social Security
$30.9B from Civil Service Retirement Fund
$18.5B from Federal Supplementary Medical insurance Trust Fund
$15.0B from Federal Hospital Insurance Trust Fund
$9.0B from the Federal Unemployment Trust Fund
$8.2B from Military Retirement Fund
$3.8B from Transportation Trust Funds
$1.8B from Employee Life Insurance & Retirement fund
$7.0B from others

Total borrowed from off budget funds $246.5B, meaning that his $230B surplus is actually a $16.5B deficit.
($246.5B borrowed - $230B claimed surplus = $16.5B actual deficit).

Sorry jk
Much of the debate is made murky by sleight-of-hand accounting rules;

The factcheck site isn't as clear as the first site.

Regardless of how you look at it;
The debt clock climbs at a faster rate than the deficit. Not sure just how that comes about. The comptroller-general said that for years, he was unable to certify that the budget report was accurate or honest. I tended to believe David Walker mare than Bush.

First of all, I would not rely on Factcheck.org for anything, it is a politically biased site funded by George Soros (like Media Matters and others). It is an activist site masquerading as some sort of "truth" site.

But here is the reason for my posting. This came in the mail today:

Lawrence Livermore Laboratories has discovered the heaviest element yet known to science.

The new element, Governmentium (Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.

These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from 4 days to 4 years to complete.

Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2- 6 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.

In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.

This characteristic of morons promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass.

When catalysed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.

Also some other notes about "fact" check:

"Prior to fiscal 2010, we were supported entirely by three sources: funds from the APPC’s own resources (specifically an endowment created in 1993 by the Annenberg Foundation at the direction of the late Walter Annenberg, and a 1995 grant by the Annenberg Foundation to fund APPC’s Washington, D.C., base); additional funds from the Annenberg Foundation"

Which seems all well and good until ..

"Barack Obama was the first Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which was a Division, or Project, of the Annenberg Foundation. Obama spent four plus years (1995-1999) as Chairman of the Board."

Oh ya, here we go. Great tactic, discredit a reliable source. You sound like Fox news. That they have won several prestigious awards and recognition for their reporting I guess is all left wing bs too, Don't like the message, discredit the messenger. Thought you knew better.
