elvinagre7,,, thank you, I feel much better now knowing that a quarter of you're time is spent chasing sexual activities...
Please feel free to wave me down and say hello. I think it would be interesting, for a short moment, to look in the eyes of a sexual predator.
He he he  , all joking aside here, are you fucking serious????

bulld:

I'm not sure what your problem is. This event is not disneyland. Are we all supposed to be celibate while we wander around in our skimpy outfits?
Burning Man is a chance to experience a lot of things and sex is one of them. End of story.

Now, about Randomfuture and his Magical Disappearing Sex Camp:
I guess it was all bullshit. Too bad, would have been an interesting experiment.

Yo! This whole "sex camp" thing is so wrong I am ashamed to even be replying... There's no need for a Brothel at BRC. Anyone who cannot find a mate is overlooking the abundant playa resources. The whole thing with "guards" and such is so BS! The original poster CHILD is obviously posting a "fake" message in hopes of A) stimulating conversation that explores our collective (sexual) mind, or B) is trying to ruin our fine festival by involving Federal laws which our enemies could use as fodder against us all! In any event, the early posts suggest a total outsider who later learns the lingo and better blends in. If you continue to reply to this page you are either humoring a madman or giving the Feds an excuse to get involved. Me too, but I'm leaving now, nuff said! -P

Camp Envy

Postby Toxic Shock » Thu Jun 17, 2004 3:39 am

Not to worry! Come on over to my camp! I'm at Camp Envy on the Esplanade. It's not mapped, I know. This is the genius of Camp Envy!-- We're going to forcibly wedge ourselves in between two other ThemeCamps on the Esplanade. We know that this is going to irritate everybody- But this is exactly the point! Nothing like initial irritation to get the blood flowing! Come on! Burning Man is about ART, right? If it illicits an emotional response....?

And how are we going to get our Esplanade neighbors to agree to give up their real estate? How will we get them to vouch for us that we are actually part of their camp so as to snow the BMORG? Easy! We're going to give them all V.I.P. passes! We're giving V.I.P. passes to the BMORG muckity-mucks as well to kinda grease the wheels a bit. Yes, V.I.P. passes, because this is how Camp Envy operates- It's all about getting that pass! For the rest of Black Rock City, for any regular person, you can only enter Camp Envy one time. If you leave Camp Envy, you can't get back in.

Haters

Postby RandomFuture » Thu Jun 17, 2004 1:29 pm

There are haters in every crowd. I have just returned from a week of opportunity and due diligence, so please forgive the delay. In my business, those who don't like an idea invest their time and money elsewhere. Therefore, BullD and others, please don't take offense, but go somewhere else and put on your hater attitude--sorry, but the time and effort put into this project is past the point of asking for advice from you--please go elsewhere. There is also a great heuristic in my business that goes like this--Money talks and BS walks. One more thing to BullD, I PM'd you with some questions and go no response--please walk, bluff called.

Now as the BRC committe is aware of this thread and the plans are done. There will be no further response from me on this thread, as time is valuable to me--as are my opportunities (I am out of the country for the next 2 weeks). So have a happy 4th of July, stay safe--go to a Prince concert or Phil Collins if that is what you chooce--and lastly have plenty of sex...it is the best.

Thats funny, I never received a PM from you. I also sent you an email, through the address you provided, in which I intimated the fact that I am not a hater just a person with some REAL concerns. In that email I also futilely requested you're office address and contact info. Hmmmmmmmmm....
Whatever randomfuture, for somebody that says they are eager to show their plans for a giant sex-camp to help answer questions and perhaps get some good feedback, you have made , IMO, a very weak, if not non-existant, effort to do so.
So, do you want to try again??? I, along with many others still have questions. My email address can be easily procured by seeing my profile.
If not, you have yourself a good burn... :)

Not to be negative or to be accused of putting down someone’s idea. But isn't it odd that random future bids us his farewell and storms off in a huff and toxic shock shows up the same day with another controversial camp idea that is sure to draw the attention and comments of regular posters? Could I be smelling some socks around here?

Quid Pro Quo NOT

Postby Toxic Shock » Thu Jun 17, 2004 10:27 pm

In the thread Evil Corportions Marketing on Playa at this specific location but condensed here
actiongrl wrote:A ... distributor guy...already a burner...donated something like 75 cases a few years back, apparently hoping it would compel us to give him a free ticket. "It's just a gift." He said...then, hemming and hawing, asked for a discounted ticket. I admit to having taken a teeny measure of delight in delivering a smiling, delicate no....Many a Ranger found his or her way through a night shift fueled by that stuff.

So you made this guy squirm while he was asking you for a discounted ticket after he gave you seventy-five (75) cases of cola? And then you gave him a smiling, delicate no? But then you kept his cola?! Awesome! Did you work it by turning around and walking away so that he could watch you wiggle your butt?!!

Wow! You're totally cruel and you like it! You're just what we're looking for! We NEED volunteers like YOU at Camp Envy! Show off your star power! Make'em think they might get somewhere with you! Then shut'em down! Yeah! Be clever; Don't let them get the better of you at Camp Envy! This is what Camp Envy all about! You would make a perfect volunteer at Camp Envy. You're going to love our wardrobe. We also provide our models with a pampering massage! I'll tell you more about how Camp Envy works, in a later message.

I can't give you a location yet. This is the genius of Camp Envy!-- We're MOBILE! We change locations every night! People will have to come find us! Every night at about 9 pm, we send out the Flaming Chariot (The flame's made of fan-blown fabric and a spot-light). We'll be distributing passes to all our friends in First camp and then we're off to Center camp. Then our chariot will ride throughout select neighborhoods dragging a (fake) dead cat with bells on it in the dust. People will have to chase the Chariot until it pulls into Camp Envy to find our newest location. We don't make the folks from First Camp actually chase the Chariot: Their passes have the location already written on them, so it's good to buddy up with a BMORG member so you can be "in the know" but you'll still need a pass to get in.

For those participants who don't manage to get into Camp Envy or had to leave early and therefore couldn't return, we're gifting away special-order "BMORG edition" hand towels with the U.S. Bill of Rights printed on them so that the whiners can wipe their noses all over the First Amendment while they cry about how people are writing satire on e-playa. The cast at Saturday Night Live know that satire is important step toward healthy change in our community/nation. SNL is a good role model. Burning Man needs to evolve. The cast at BMORG should follow suite if they want to be as artistic as Saturday Night Live with themes and all. If I twist your panties so tight by my freedom of speech that you now can't make it to Burning Man, then you are just one less casuality/liability for the rest of us on the playa. The Plonk feature is now enabled- It's called FREE WILL. The Plonk feature is also called the scroll-bar. Artistic License on E-Playa Now! BMORG, suck it up. Give us our Freedom of Speech!

My point in that thread was that I did find it just a little delightful to stick to my guns about not giving him a ticket in EXCHANGE for a product when he had offered it as a *gift*.

If I had chosen to thank him on my own accord by offering him a ticket... that would have been a gift.

At least I copped to feeling a little smug. I didn't say I was terribly proud of myself, I just meant it felt good somehow.

Excuse me, Mr. Shock

Postby Suzie Clipboard » Fri Jun 18, 2004 11:24 pm

You had better watch yourself, mister! Toxic Shock, let me tell you this- Satire hurts! Okay?! I know from personal experience. Some joker decided to log on to e-playa as Suzie Clubfoot. Can you believe this?! It's so high-school! And get this, she like, starts acting like me, like she wants to be me! Well, I can understand.... But does she have to be so obvious?!

Lucky for me, I have communications with Technopatra the Admin. Technopatra set that Suzie Clubfoot straight. I myself, am not an Admin nor would I mislead you to think so. Technopatra's the Admin. Technopatra knows how to write an email like a whack to the head. That will set 'em straight! Go 'Patra!! Here's Technopatra's letter in private email to that user. This is verbatim.

As a private email, not via php-
technopatra wrote:<form letter portion of an Admin warning here>
Ok XXXXXXX, I like the Suzie character, she's very clever, but if you attempt to move threads again or mislead peole into thinking you have any kind of admin powers again, you will be 86'd from these boards.

Inappropriate threads or posts will be deleted out of the Eplaya feedback area - this is an area for real work and feedback, and I've no time for this silliness.

This is your only and last warning.

~technopatra~
eplaya admin

So you need to get wise, Toxic Shock. You think you're clever but you're not! Since that warning letter, Suzie Clubfoot hasn't posted since! She's too afraid that her post will get deleted. Yeah, I know that she took the time to write it and it might feel painful for her to see her posts deleted, like they are a part of character, but hey, she's making fun of me! We just can't have that!

People, I've already warned you all about the dangers of satire. I've told you here, here, here and here. When are you going to learn?! Come on now! We've got to hold it together!

Everybody, I don't want to be hard on you but we've got to pull together as a community. We can put pressure on Toxic Shock to register his theme camp! What do you say? Let's do it!

(Chad was so wonderful! When I told him about all this drama over the phone (he's in residency in Boston), he first misunderstood me and thought Technopatra was deleting my account. This made him get excited and say that if this happened, he was going to beat the holy 'effing crap out of Larry and say "Give this to Technopatra". He's so wonderful, my fiancee. I know he loves me. The brute! I had to calm him down. You know he's only talking! No, Technopatra is helping me about this little issue with Susie Clubfoot.)

Toxic Shock, I'm putting three frowny faces next to your name. You may want to consider moving your little shell game to it's own thread with a disclaimer at the entrance that you're a theme camp about smoke and mirrors. Please leave.

HOLY SHIT! I can't beleive I read the whole thing! I feel like I had just walked into a mall and everyone was arguing at once. I actully hope this bezar project works. I might even stop by.
And a message to all the folks who think your a loser if you can't get laid at the Burn. I went last year and didn't get anything. But that was my lesson for that year, I had a great time, but I was alone the whole time. I'm a good looking, friendly guy. What would you do to get a little warmth on those freazing, playa, nights? Because everyone else acts like it's so abundent. Maybe I was spending to much time waiting for Draca to move.

So you're asking how to get laid on the playa? Here's some advice a gay friend of mine gave me, while we were building on playa a week before the last year's event.

"Stop looking for people you want to fuck," he said, "and start looking for people who want to fuck you. Once you've started to spot them, find one you like, be yourself, and see what happens."

Those words have worked wonders for me...

Ahhh! But there is a window, however brief, where they have drank enough to loose their ability to be critical, but not yet enough to be incapable. That is the moment to strike! And be sure to watch out for puke.

I'm giving herpes as a playa gift this year.

I didn't read this whole damn thread, so maybe someone stole that joke. I'll totally sue you.

Nice try with that sex pile. It's not gonna pan out and won't be a very positive experience for most involved. Trust the people on this board that have been burning for years (not me) and put those resources and desires to work on more creative ways to share yourselves with Black Rock City. A fuck-barn might look half-decent on paper, but it won't on the playa.

:D Hi
I just wanted to say that I am totally in favor of this sex tent thing.
where I live there are almost no women, I go to a bar to meet even one and it looks like a gay bar.
all the women where I live are hitched. count me in on this, and good luck getting rid of me.
If any women are offended by my interest in this then its ok, I do not expect women to understand the situation here.
feel free to write to me about this.
xgenra@hotmail.com
P.S.
when talking to women when naked, how do I come across as a guy with a good healthy interest in sex and not some "pervert" even though I might be hard enough to cut a diamond?

women can say no?
well then whats the sense of even doing it then?
hell, I can go anywhere and find women to tell me no.
and my favorite "can't we just be freinds?"
