I think I saw that at the vatican.
They keep the real one down a corridor since someone attacked it, behind a wooden door with a little barred window in it.
It's all like being around rock stars.
In fact, the decorating style is indistinguishable.
Most musicians don't have their own currency though.

Final Hammer Slams

Postby Mister Jellyfish Mister » Sat Jan 16, 2010 8:44 am

Our portion of the Ein Hammer art grant proposal is now with our professional grant writer for review.  Dave King is finishing up the propane and fire section, Maciej "Magic" is bustin' out the flame animation.  After I turn it in to Burning Man near the end of the month, I plan to take a restful winter camping trip by myself and clear my head. Here's a preliminary night time image by Magic:

Sign Ze Papers!

Postby Mister Jellyfish Mister » Mon Jan 18, 2010 9:03 am

Thanks, you guys. There's something you can do to help the project that is totally free and only takes 58 seconds of your time. This is also a friendly request of you, the person who is "lurking" here but has not yet posted anything...

Sign Ze Papers!

As the project will soon be considered for grant funding, please sign the humorous Ein Hammer Manifesto at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/ein_ ... manifesto/ . It's not so much a plea for BORG bucks as it is a parody of the manifestos of the Dada art movement, and a bit of a send-up of the previous Borg2 statement. If you've already signed it, thanks! Afterward, be sure and click the "Signatures" tab as some of the comments you guys are leaving are funny as hell. If our grant reviewer gives me the OK, I'll include a link to it in the proposal so the Burning Man Art Grant Committee can see your interest and comments.

With gratitude,

-Mister Jellyfish.

Can't you just see it now, loaded with bulky wrenches and hammers, descending to the workers underground!? Bwahahaha! I got it for pretty cheap, but the freight shipping is going to be pricey. Nothing's too good for Ze Wërkers!

Missle launched...

Postby Mister Jellyfish Mister » Mon Feb 01, 2010 9:01 pm

Ordinance away! I had to call Dave King on the phone just so he could give me the "Ein Zwei Drei" as my finger hovered over the "send" button of the grant proposal to Burning Man headquarters. Him, Magic, Killbuck, Dave Cherry, and Nila have all been instrumental in getting the idea on paper in a way that is both clear on the concept and exciting to read. Here is the final video to which the proposal also has a link:

Now it's time to step back from the concept and clear my head while I let the powers that be decide if it's going to manifest. Me thinks it's time for a little winter camping in the desert!

I'm a big fan of the boys from Akron. If we worked one of their songs into the turbine start-up sequence, which one do you think it should be?
