great OED......it's looking like they're processing about 80/min.

saves me from asking the perennial question: (which, I should never have to ask)

"are you in yet, Dick?"

Refershing the page and finding the buy button was too slow. There were over 5000 ahead of me so I guess I'm resigned to level two. At least I should have tickets today.

when Ozzfest was free 3 years ago, it felt just like this, but at least you could do multiple accounts there..I got 16 tickets then for me and my friends.

IIRC, there are 10K available at first level.......assuming not everyone buys two, you can sort of tell be how many are ahead, I'd think......

I don't know how it happened, but, with the atomic clock helping me (I'm in an all night Internet dungeon in Thailand) I punched in, was had 301 people ahead, and got my ticket page at 10:12pst!

Used CC and got confirmation in my email by 10:16

Amazing and thanks to all those who actually got the servers to be efficient this year!

I only have enough money on my credit card to get two tier one tickets and one tier two, so if I have to get tier two then friend stays home :(

or I save more money and get another ticket later.

Got mine...we were 540 or so to start. Seems like it went pretty smoothly. Just waiting for the confirmation email now. (But the charge shows up on the card already, so doesn't look like any snafus this year.)

Yeah!!!!!

I think you can only buy 2 tickets at first tier, anyway. They limit it to slow down the scalpers.

ygmir wrote:IIRC, there are 10K available at first level.......assuming not everyone buys two, you can sort of tell be how many are ahead, I'd think......

Yeah there are 9000 at first level. I got on at 10:01 and was 5000 in place, so I have a chance unless they ALL buy 2 at $210.

3200th place now at 10:35.

Only 3995 to go. At 50 per minute I still have well over an hour to sit here hoping the machine doesn't hang up.
