Looking for Comedians/Improvisors and Bboys/Dancers

Postby xzist » Mon Oct 26, 2009 9:52 pm

Hey wassup everyone, I'm trying to get some Improv shows going on at BM 2010. There are 2 improvisors coming from New York and thats not quite enough to do a show. I'm looking for fellow Improvisors from around the U.S. that are familiar with Del Close/Upright Citizens Brigade style of comedy. Also, if there any Bboys (break dancers) that will be attending the festival to organize battles and/or other forms of dance to exhibit or compete. Get back to me. Peace

Sounds cool. This may not be the peak period for recruiting, however. Check back when ticket sales start.

In my case that's probably a good thing. I'd just show up. with my book in hand (always carry one in case real life is too boring) and sit there, visibly gloomy, and expect some sort of coherent explanation. Soemthing I think we all would like to avoid.

Unfortunately, that's not always the case.

I thought I'd bump this in case there are any other improvisers coming this year. I'd love to jump in on something. Just tell this Burgin where & when. We'll make up the rest right?

We are having a Bad Poetry/Comedy Night on Tuesday that runs for two and a half hours. We think that improv would be a great fit with this event. Let’s get all the funny people together under one shelter. Send me a message if you are interested: cookclub (at) gmail (dot) com
