looking for LA burners willing to share their talents

Postby inge » Thu Feb 05, 2004 9:14 pm

Hi!

I'm sure a lot of you LA burners out there have heard about the monthly or by now , bi monthly get togethers happening at Nova Express usually on the second Friday of the month.
We just sit around , eat and drink and chat about BM and have a blast.
But at our last get together we decided ( thanks to two very inspiring burners, Amy and DAbomb) to change this is a bit.
We would like to ask all the creative minds out there who have a talent ( massage, drawing, costume making, belly dancing, sing, musicians...etc....) to come over to Nova and share it with the other burners. Nova Express is a small coffee house so if your talent is doing tricks wih elephants , sorry, that won't work.
Next get together will be March 12 .
So please, anyone interested email me beforehand so I can streamline this a bit...

Oh , and there will probably be a Burners fashion show somewhere in June at Nova Express. Just to make sure that your outfit will be ready by August!

Bye!
Inge

Hey Inge,

You know I'm in, not sure for what yet.

My life is holy crap crazy right now and I'll only be emailing sporadically until probably the end if February. If you send me an email, be sure it'll be read but i might not be the most prompt with my response.

Okay, I viewed, now I'll reply. I am interested in contributing, but having never been to the space (tsk, tsk) I don't know if my thing is swingable or not. I am also gearing up hard for Xara at the moment.
But I am interested...

video installations

requires a decent size flat wall and a lack of obstruction in the projection cone.

Stuart..they do have a flat wall that they use to project movies on.

So it might work..
