Lingerie, pasties, other fun stuff

Postby ragabashpup » Tue Apr 08, 2008 10:12 pm

Does anyone know of any good inexpensive online shops where I can find a good selection of Lingerie, pasties and other fun playawear? Also if you know of any good stores in the Seattle area. A few of my friends have been giving me sites but the stuff on them is so expensive I can't justify purchasing it for playa wear.

Some camps offer pasty making as a craft project. Make an extra set for Bob, so he can be less grumpy.

The castle's selection in Seattle is really hit or miss. It is great for Porn or for vibrators but decoration doesn't seem to be something they specialize in.

I got a pasties making kit off ebay a couple years ago ... I think the same seller has good ones inexpensively, and not the cheap stick-ons. I got the kit to use the instructions to make spiked leather ones for a friend. Ridiculously simple pattern, think Pac-man then fold and glue.

My suggestion is to get comfortable at least topless. :->

Go to http://www.amazon.com and search for pasties.

See http://www.pastease.com/

My suggestions for pastease are
http://www.pastease.com/glitterotica.php
and
http://www.pastease.com/minis.php
which will give you the option of more exposure if you find your comfort level is greater than you expect.

See The Civilized Explorer Fantasy Fest album (not safe for workplace) for ideas on homebrew pasties and opaque body paint:

I might have to look into making some myself then.

Phil wow thank you for all of the links. I want to work up to being topless this year. For some reason I am quite alright running around nude in my house with the blinds open but can't do it out on the playa with people that are completely content with their bodies. I have issues

I used to have issues, but I've misplaced them. I don't go nude or topless for comfort in the dust and hot sun. But give me below freezing winter weather, a bonfire and a pair of boots and baby, I'm set!
These are not my fuckos.

I do worry about parts of my body seeing sun that haven't seen the sun in about 8 years. I know how badly I burned in 06 and I don't want a repeat of that.

I have vitiligo - my melanocytes are dead, and I don't tan at all on those spots; I get an almost immediate burn. High SPF sunblock works for me, and since you can tan, just limiting unprotected exposure prevents burns.

Rag -

You can practice in your neighborhood at night. Just run around until you feel comfortable.

Pastie making sounds easy once I thought about different patterns. I think ill go beat a set out of copper, and try that out - should not take too long. We also have some great adhesives so Nipple armor is my next project i guess

I live in the burbs. Having a microsoftie call the cops on me isn't my idea of a good time.

California, and I vacation in the Caribbean and at Burning Man. I don't let it affect my life to any great extent.

You get to choose how you appear at Burning Man, of course, so don't let all the suggestions deter you from dressing as you please. On the other hand, at Burning Man, you have permission.

Phil my main problem is that I want to be able to be comfy being nude. It just that society pounded it into my head that its not okay and I am trying to work around that.

When I was there in 06 I just learned my lesson about the type of clothes I want to avoid so I know how I want to dress its just dumping the money into it to do so.

ragabashpup- Know any sewing/craft folk? The last couple years have been around people who love sewing. Make great mesh pant designs and enjoy doing it. Even tried alittle apparel design myself :D Great thing about design and getting it made is guarenteed no one has a pair they have ordered

I don't really know anyone that sews well. I am an amature sewer and do everything by hand. I have made myself some tails and some leg warmers. I am getting ready to make myself some arm warmers to match.

I have seen camps that make pasties for people.
If you want to be able to be comfy being nude, beyond just doing it I'd say hang at places where other people are too... but really, after a day or two in BRC a nude person doesn't even draw a second glance. You can dress or not all you want, whatever, it's nuthin'.
(I know you know that, I'm just letting you hear it from another source!)

I've seen people use those sticky foam craft pieces in the kids crafts sections of the Hobby Lobby or dollar stores. They work reasonably well, and you can always make them stick better with a body glue. I'm too lazy to figure out where to get some so I use my fake eye lash glue.
