They are excellent live. It's only one guy, really, and I understand he is completing his PHD in Math. He used to be called Manitoba but a recent lawsuit forced the name change. If you have a chance to pick up his most recent album, The Milk of Human Kindness, you will not be dissapointed.

True that, Bas. it's nice to see what Devo could have done with a budget like Al's.

I loooove Ken Nordine, the jazz poet on your second link. If you dig him, I'll bet you like Alan Watts too:

His books and lectures have changed my life as significantly as Burning Man... no kidding.

This one gets creepy, but give it a chance:

Well, I found the Ken Nordine video while looking up something else (I don't recall what), and found it entertaining-- esp. since it was J.R. "Bob" Dobbs supposedly doing the talking. I got reminded of the video while watching "Dare to be Stupid"-- and I still don't know if the pipe smoking guy in Weird Al's video is supposed to be "Bob"! (He's got the pipe and the brain dead grin..., but maybe I am focusing too much on the pipe and grin? )

I'll need to check out the links you posted.

Thanks!

Okay, so it isn't YouTube, and it isn't a video, but, wouldn't this make a cool camper for Burning Man? And you could give out free MRI scans (assuming that the unit comes with the vehicle, and is operational)! :D

This is one of my favorite bits from Penn and Teller. Also, there are a number of lips from their show "bullshit".
