My only real objection to Texan culture is that it seems to be driven by middle-aged loud women with nothing interesting to say, with big hair and makeup, who if they couldn't go shopping would have no clue as to what to do with their lives.

Substitute "shopping" for "telling others how they should live their lives" and you'd be describing CA's senatorial delegation.

Don't bitch too much, you could be from Missouri:
We're famous for a couple of things....
Our state animal is the Jackass (mule).
Our roads are so bad you need to ride on a jackass to get over them
And we voted a total jackass in as a former governor and after losing to a DEAD Senator, we sent him on to the rest of you...you might know of him as your Attorney General, John Ashcroft?

Excluding California, the rest of you have it made and don't even know it. We don't call this place MISERY for nothing.
