I think you mean:

3 Caribou, 2 Norway Geese and a Herring with a Machine Gun.

I can't see the image of the captain from here at work so I don't know what I'm missing out on. Anyway when it comes to guns and cannons IMHO it doesn't get any better than a 16 inch Iowa class battleship firing HE shells. Sure the Yamato had 18 inchers and there are other larger guns...but for sheer volume of firepower there's nothing that can equal a broadside from one of those ships.

Sorry to go offtopic but I can't resist highlighting a subject I thoroughly enjoy.

1. Isn't our world amazing? We can all show and (even little kids) look at a weapon that can maim and mangle without pity. But a naked woman? Oh my god....not that!!!!!! Damage control!!! Damage control!!!!

So war...good.....naked hotties....bad. Got it!!!

2. As for the Yamato and her sistership the Musashi, unfortunately for the Japanese they selected the worst possible time in history to design and build the largest warships ever to date.

This is most ironic since they had proved that a Val or Kate (at the cost of a few hundred thousand yen) could take out a great battleship as they did with the HMS Prince of Wales in the South China Sea (not to mention Pearl Harbor....today's anniversary....your Arizona memorial proves the point!!).

Image
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Since the sinking of these super-battleships, the U.S. has only used battleships as floating artillery and a way to impress the natives. That's pretty much all they're good for today.....

Image
The last moments of the Musashi as the Japanese (re)learn a painful lesson about super-battleships versus air power.

ps-as far as going off topic, these Norwegians need to learn a thing or two about our weaponry. Once it is "old and busty" they'll be buying it from us anyway. In fact, I think they just bought the Iowa...gonna rename it the Oslo and scare the shit out of the Danes.

Just looking forward to nail those guys from Apokiliptika. Long live Camp Herring!

Remember to bring air fresher. You'll need that when we drop a big load of old stinking herring on Kamp Apokiliptika.

Know what I find amazing? That the whole focus of this fishy camp is Apokiliptika. I'm kinda honored that we have entire camps fucsed on US! Their main proponents' avatars feature... what? Not fish. Not a norsk flag. Not a dairy cow? Not a salute to the mineral wealth or industry of Norway... but US.

Wow! Guess we really *do* rock!! Kinda nice to be the Kamp that provides others with their identity. (Maybe we should be getting a % of their hit count?)

Of course... would our guys volunteer to be nailed by you?

Back to the following comment...

BB-didn't you know that Europeans make the best farmers? When we take over Norway for our "LEBENSRAUM", I will rekommend to the Kernul that we use the Europeans as our farmers.

Its kind of hard to get any perspective but based on the average size of a North Sea herring, I'd have to say your trajectory will barely clear the "We are Wusses" signs Apokiliptika will require you to mark your kamp with if you are anywhere within an hour of our kamp.

Allow Me To Introduce Myself

Postby Red Rover » Thu Dec 08, 2005 11:29 pm

ATTENTION GOOD PEOPLE OF CAMP HERRING:

Let it be known that I, from this day forth, shall be your ally. I have a personal score to settle with the scoundrels who call themselves "Apokiliptka."

They know not the true meaning of doom.

I look forward to PERSONALLY presenting the upper echelons of Apokiliptika to the good people of Camp Herring, in chains.

Well.... I'm not really that kind of Barb Wire...

By the way. We've learned a sercret language from the herrings. Listen to this sample:
http://www.zoology.ubc.ca/~bwilson/herring_sound.wav

Herring are well known to most. Their economic importance to the fishing communities of the temperate northern Hemispheres is in no doubt and as a result much of their biology has been well documented. We know they have excellent hearing but only a few know what they actually use it for. WE KNOW!

It turns out that herring make unusual sounds at night. We've been working hard to find out how and why they produce these sounds.

The use of this sound include:

* Contact calls at night
* Anti-predator tactics
* Incidental results of buoyancy compensation

So...... be afraid when you here this sound in your Kamp. You'll hear us before you see us!

Sounds like the "end" result of indegestion brought about by consumption of an overabundance of Legumes, and other methane-prodcing feed. As heard through the tinny quality of cheap Norweigan microphones?

Bouancy Compensation? Anti-predator Tactics? Isn't this all a polite way of saying "massive fish farts that smell so bad they scare off anything within 100 km??"

NOW... we have the answer to where that *smell* comes from. Yeech...
