Viva La Drum N Bass.....

Viva La Drum N Bass.....

Postby Yazzysays » Sat Aug 17, 2013 10:58 am

Hello!

Not sure if this is the right place to post but I'm a drum N bass/Jungle music enthusiast . I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find some playing on the playa this year..... I know Andy C and Aphrodite played last year.

Thanks!

ok! hi! welcome to burning man

i see this is the 3rd post youve made asking for this info..

it looks like this might be your first year.

burning man isnt really a music festival, just go there.. and youll see...

you wont be able to hide from all of the dance music.. its constant.

it may not be your favorite subgenre, but it will be dance music

seriously.. just go to burning man, worry about your gear/camping stuff/rv.. not the setlists!

youll have fun ;-P (maybe)

Sup friend! I don't think you'll have much trouble getting you DnB fix but here are a couple thoughts that you may or may not be familiar with: Rockstarlibrarian puts out a pretty comprehensive list of music around the playa and it is included in the 'time to burn' app for your phone. Definitely download the 'time to burn' app. I think the main schedule will be released tomorrow (8/20). That should overwhelm you with DJ's and if you're like me you probably will have to do your homework and struggle a bit to try to pick the best sets at the best times.

Additionally, I'm part of a DnB camp 'Black Rock City: Dust n Bass' and we are located at 2&john frum. Come by anytime and make yourself at home. We're a smaller group of about 25-35 virgins and non-virgins alike from all over the country. We'll have multiple sets prob wed-sun pm>am. It's our first year as a collective camp so details are still being hashed out (STRESS!!!) but we're friendly and fun. Feel free to PM me and i can give you some more information about our camp or get you in contact with another member who might be able to share their choice pics for each night of the burn. We're also open to hosting other artists and campers if you or anyone else is interested. BoH!
