Excited to be here!

Excited to be here!

Postby junglebrad » Tue Jan 24, 2012 6:20 pm

Hello everyone! My wife and I have been wanting to attend for 10 years and we're finally pushing hard for it. We registered for one ticket each and are optimistic about getting them! But heck, even if we don't get selected, there's so much to learn and unlearn on here. I've been lurking for a while and have been reading about school bus conversions and hexayurts and we are building both this year. The regionals here in TX have been a blast and we've met so many friends and experienced so much. I look forward to getting to know some of you lovely people.

Hello Savannah and Tamarakay! Yes it's about time I chimed in on here. Do you have any burner friends in the Dallas area?

Burning Flipside. We've also been to quite a few weekend burns with North TX Burners and other friends. I miss the ones several years ago out in the Mojave Desert. They were under the Aquaducts. It was very cool and you could see so many stars!

Taking on a school bus conversion, huh? Check out this thread from Elliot if you haven't seen it already.
