I always stop at the Gymnasium on my home from the playa and get tacos and sodas. I like helping that community.
Many years ago, I was a med-tech working in a traveling well-baby clinic there. My greatgrandmother was Quapa. I got stuck doing all the heel sticks on the babies, I made them all cry.
The babies I made cry may be serving me, or their kids might be helping me. Time flies. I learned a lot traveling around to all the Northern Nevada Reservations that summer. I became a medical/surgical nurse later on.
