4x4'ers to do Jungo?

Postby [CDS] topher » Sat Jul 07, 2007 5:09 am

I'm a reasonbly experienced 4x4-er with a very well equipped truck, and am hoping to meet some experienced well-equipped (high clearance, 4x4 only, at least one spare tire, etc) folks to do the Jungo drive leaving from Winemucca on the 26th.

This road will be hot, dangerous (a big plus is you have lots of recovery gear, WINCH, and/or satphone, as I will) and long. We'll cut over to the highway, then south for refreshments before waiting for the gates to open at midnight that night. A caravan of experienced off roaaders will be safer than anyone, no matter how skiled or prepared, alone.

Plus, by driving during thay, no matter how hot, we'll hav the pleasure of actually seeing this beautiful country.
