I am versatile belly dancer and burlesque star who performs all over London.

Um, you've posted in the 'Years Past' section, more specifically, under '2005'. Say, you don't have a time machine, do you? Lucky dog.

Anyhoo, don't you worry your li'l shakin' hips, there'll be a place that needs/wants you. No, I don't have any specifics for you just yet, but it's still early - the event is four months away.

Okay, okay, here's one for starters: There'll be a thread called "Artists Seeking Stages" and another thread called (say it with me!) "Stages Seeking Artists" that will magically reappear soon-ish. That's your cue.

However! Should you/me/everyone else drop the ball, it's not going to matter one whit. Trust Sensei on this, YOU WILL FIND A PLACE TO PERFORM. This I guaran-fuckin'-tee. You'll see once you arrive and have a look around.

If you shake it, they will come...

Why son-of-a-gun, look what just magically (re)appeared under "2008 Art and Performance"? It's an "Artists Seeking Stages" thread! Oh, happy day!

Magically? Hmmm... pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!

Haha! Oops! Better at shaking my booty than at using message boards! Thanks for pointing that out!

Every year the bellydancers converge on Center Camp and do a show.....keep checking, they usually post time/day in the Who/What/When Guide, which won't go live 'til July.....

That's right, I'd forgotten about that. I think they call it "Bellydance Invasion" or something like that.

Oh... I thought it was "Belly Inversion", usually after having too many margaritas.
