.....Forever Here In My Hands.....

Postby Rabbi Dali Rick » Fri Jan 21, 2005 8:53 am

[b]Forever Here In My Hands[b/]

I have forever in my hand.
It is mine to share or give.
It will be the gift that everyone remembers.
It will be the gift that shapes each tomorrow.
It will be the one thing useful in all our lives.

I have forever in my hand.
It appears to be melting as I watch.
If I blow on it to cool it down, my breath will erase the colors.
If I change hands, It will lose some of it's meaning.
If you want to share it I think you'd better hurry.

I have forever in my hand.
It is soft and furry like a rabbit.
Can you see it trembling there in my hand?
Can you sense the urgency as you stroke it's back?
Can you understand why you even need forever?
Can we talk about it tomorrow because it will be forever too.

"I intend to live forever - so far, so good."

sphericially,
Rabbi Dali Rick

Can I just say that I prefer to call the cup half full ??? :P
Not that there's anything wrong with calling it half empty, OK?
Thanks. I really needed that.

I tend to think that the glass is simply too large.

In the interest of minimizing waste (and dirty dishes), I forego the cup and just swill from the bottle....

In the Dark, Dark Corner...

Postby Rabbi Dali Rick » Tue Jan 25, 2005 12:12 am

Stuck in a corner with my back against the wall,
Refusing to give in as night begins to fall,
Lots of shouting, and fighting, and gnashing of teeth
The point long forgotten, the die is cast,
Deaf ears are covered lest they're beseeched,
No quarter, no mercy these are serious matters,
Murder has quietly creeped it's word keen,
Hand upon blade it's grip so tight there is no comfort,
Dark despair eyes flashing has come nigh,
You're Psychic self has noone to answer too.
I look deep into the reason of every move I make,
To the left possibly to the right, it's all just tones and overtones,
I try to make myself concerned but it makes me so uneven.

I am wrapped up here in this place with no windows, no door,
The thing that I came for is obviously no more,
Things are becoming clearer, things I should know
I try to hold the fires of hell in my hand but can't quite get it,
I take apart the universe on atom at a time then put it back together,
I turn the volume down but I still hear them shouting my name,
I have a chair to sit in to watch the time go by,
When you get here maybe things will change.

"Be prepared to be part of someone else's experience."

sharingly,
Rabbi Dali Rick

Rabbi, way to have patience! You are the willow! The Eplaya winds may fitfully blow chaotically about your branches, but your roots are firm and without fear. And your leaves provide cool comfort from the hot world., before they fall, no longer visible but not forgotten, from view. Thanks! Dragonfly Jafe
