Circle of Infinity...

Postby Guppie » Mon Sep 22, 2003 1:18 pm

I have seen quite a few pictures of the circle of infinity by matthew reoch, but none from within the piece itself. I am curious if those pics were attempted and did not come out, or if there are that many people who didn't realize that you could step inside the piece and it was like living in a kaleidoscope.

I was lucky enough to arrive just as the artist was finishing installation and was encouraged to view it from within.

Beyond belief is only the beginning. Thanks

The back of each piece was a flat mirror so it was like a verticle kaleidoscope. What was at one end was replicated by looking into the other end.

Sadly, infinity is not a circle, but a spiral.

Isn't that right spiral?
