Another one from the same Album, 'The Beast and the Broadsword".......

Fuck, I'm crying. I hadn't heard this tune since 1983. This particular video, though, has a drummer you might recognize from other musical (and singing) accomplishments - Phil Collins.

(It may not surprise anyone.)
I am of the opinion that it was in many ways a tragedy that rock'n'roll came along, as big as it did. It's not that all the music is bad--I have both movement and artists I like. It's not that it's not creative. It's that in the end, not matter what little byways are explored, it always goes back to guitar, bass, drums, voice (usually male), possibly augmented by keyboards and rhythm guitar.
When you love things like accordions, and xylophones, and ukuleles it means that there's a void in rock music.
Of course, at this point, rock is ebbing and electronic and rap are the musical powerhouses in this country, now. So, look at me, railing against a dead thing on behalf of a deader thing.

That's some good music there fishy.
When I was a kid, 7, 8, 9 years old we'd go to Shakeys Pizza. The had a live piano player and would play that song. Most of the customers would join in chorus. Instead of singing "Roll out the barrel" they'd sing "Roll out the Burgie" for Burgermeister beer.
I don't know if Burgie beer is available anymore. I don't even know if Shakeys is still in business.

Had a conversation with my mom that reminded me of our old house, growing up in the 70s, having a party with a bunch of records stacked up on the old stereo, when this would play off of some k-tel collection. Good times.
