Also, your post was stupid.

Geez, buncha whiners.

2 tickets needed to fulfil our fantasy!
Postby MFOB » Tue Jun 03, 2014 12:59 pm

Searching for someone in this beautiful world to fulfil out fantasy of going to burning man for the first time. We saw about burning man on a website and decided we wanted to go. We are 2 23 yr old free spirits and dont have anywhere to live, we're basically traveling gypsies roaming around and couchsurfing from town to town.
Our plan is to go to burning man and try to find someone with an extra tent or shade structue that they can borrow us. We will be walking in via Jungo road and only have small backpacks that we travel with. We have some friends in Winnemucca that will help us out by driving as far as they can down the road and then we'll walk from there, they only have a small car that they said wouldnt make it very far down Jungo road.
We dont really have any money, but are hoping that we can help out around a camp or barter some great wonderful gifts in exchange for 2 free tickets. If all goes well, we might decide to come back next year and bring my Uncle Yankos motorhome. Before that happens, one of us has to get a license to drive, hence the walking to burning man this year. Weve made it pretty far in the bartering game with great talents like sewing, cooking, dancing, cleaning, building houses for Habitat for Humanity, sharing our amazing story with peopole that dont live like we do, and basically being down to earth, relly easy going girls that enjoy making other people happy. If you think you could spare two tickets for us, we would be full of joy, elation and appreciation. Please help us help you at burning man, itll be a wonderfully magic time in our and your world.

Thank You for reading,
Kizzy and Luminitsa

Joke post, not a troll. I'd put the whole set of replies in, but that is work, and yeah, nope. Just can't let joke threads stand in the working forums so it had to go.

I really wanted to know exactly what that camp was physically going to consist of. How do you build a camp "centered around" such ideas?

I read once about a guy who was going to pedal a homemade 3 or 4 wheeler that was heavy as shit down Jungo Rd. Thats where I got the idea, if he can pedal some "thing" down the road, why not be able to walk? I have never been on Jungo, is it really that bad?

Jay (the bike creator) is real, and a regular poster on the board. I'm not sure if he's still working on this.
And, yes, Jungo is really that bad. I doubt someone could carry enough water to walk all the way down it.

It is. More of a trail than a road, it's: unpaved, uneven and completely unlit, with no services or habitation of any kind. It's incredibly slow going, because of its quality, and the rabbits run under your car every 3 minutes or so, which is depressing.

I took it in 2001 'cause I didn't know any better. :D
