Funny enough, I found mystery lines on my niece's dessert just the other day:

When he lights his streetlamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower.
When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep.
That is a beautiful occupation.

You didn't include a link to the article...

And well, dessert... I know every culture has its sweet treats, but

but nothing--those weird custard tarts are so scary that I don't need mystery lines to give them a wide berth!

Mmmmm ....fortune cookies.
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

After that thick round of snark, here's one article related to the original post:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/8888909/China-Google-Earth-spots-huge-unidentified-structures-in-Gobi-desert.html

I wish people would learn to put scale bars in their images. If it was taken from Google Earth, it can't be that hard!

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

desert: a dry place kinda like the playa
dessert: a tasty usually sweet treat often after dinner. Also has two esses...memory clue: two esses because most people want more sweet things than dry dusty places
